About Me

Good fortune has been at my side often in life. I have travelled and lived abroad, have succeeded at a business (not big bucks, but never had a loss). I am a writer, song writer, and poet. I was the emcee for the Famous Poets Society for 4 yrs. Own several copyrights and have a book published on amazon.com. Speak French, love to cook and bake, can sew (make) mens suits and tailor. Have won awards for public speaking, and the Presidents award for Literary Excellence 1998. Belonged to an improv group for 2 yrs. and have acted in live theater for a year. Have had my share of hard times too, but life is full of ups and downs. They do not tend to throw me too far off balance. I love kids, entertaining, singing, rock climbing (I am certified). Have an associates and a bachelors degree, and believe you cannot get enough education. Love studying and reading the Bible. I have 6 children, and they have given me 15 grandkids and one great-grand child. I hope they stop now!

Jesus, the Apostle Paul, Peter, John, Luke and King David. Sounds silly, but I would love to see and know the different personalities. It would be inspiring and fascinating.
I would like to talk to Patrick Henry, George Washington, Abe Lincoln, and Gerald Ford, yes, and Ronald Reagan, and Sarah Palin, and Foy Anderson (you won't know of him, but I do.)

Sewing, bookkeeping, baby sitting (now how can that be? he he), writing, reading, cooking, wood working and refinishing.

Most definitely writing. Am thinking of putting some of my work on here, just have not done it yet.

County western, Classical, Rock and Roll, the Oldies, some foreign music and songs.

I rarely watch TV but when I do, it is Becker, Funniest Home Videos, National Geographic, History channel, Animal Planet, some documentaries, movies.

The Robe, Dr. Zavago, The Patriot, The Rambo series, Sound of Music, High Noon, Gladiator, The Crossing, The Bourne Conspiracy.

The Other Side of Midnight, James Bond series, Elizabeth, Asumptions that Influence our Lives, The Christian Life and Character of the Civil Institutions of the United States,

Too many to even start to name!

I have but one hero - Jesus Christ our Lord.

We have to focus on increased productivity, and that is going to mean stopping the cap and trade bill, the health care bill, and any other legislation that is going to pick our bones dry. We do not as a nation have the luxury of a laisse faire attitude, and our president, if he doesn't wake up to this fact, is going to run into more trouble than he ever bargained for. When the wolf is at the door - well you can figure the rest out for yourself. (more)

If I remember correctly, there are protocols that every president is given that help him to understand the procedures, customs, and expectations of every nation and what nation's head of state considers proper etiquette when meeting formally.
I am sure Obama has been apprised of these, as he has managed to insult EVERY friendly nation we have ever had. This cannot have happened as a mistake - these are deliberate moves on his part. Rest assured of that, folks.

This spending spree by Congress and Obama is no different than FDR back in the 30's during the depression. It did not work then, it will not work now. The only way to stop this was for government to let up on regulations, cut back on spending, and in no way bail out industries that would have and should have failed because they did not have good money managers in place to run things right.
We can say ACORN threatened bank officials to write loans to people who should have never gotten them, but that is our own fault we didn't listen, we weren't paying attention to what was really happening behind the scenes. Two wrongs do not make a right, and a once failed solution followed a second time around and compounded by even greater spending than the era they copied, will most definitely see failure.

The new testament also tells us to pray for our leaders for they are there to safeguard us. My prayer has been that God will protect our nation from the evils that my befall us, that he will send a strong Spirit of guidance to help our "lawmakers and governors" work righteously for us, and that we as a people will be led back onto the road of repentence and acknowledgment of God in our lives.
If it be God's will that he be replaced, may it be with a God-fearing individual who truly has the best interests of the nation at the core of his being.

I hate to be the bearer of ill tidings, but do you think with the current race for takeover by either a NWO or a new monetary system, or even an illegally imposed 'martial law', that there will even be an election next Nov? Personally, I think for the very few who ever receive the death penalty that are innocent, it is better to have it in place. There are truly people who commit seriously hieneous crimes that should be put to death! That isn't a judgment call that is taken out of God's hands - rather he says we are to obey the laws of the land - and a much as within us lies to live at peace with all men. I think the Bible allows for the setting up whatever laws a particular government decides to put in place. We will all undergo judgment in the end, and that by the laws of God himself.

There is tremendous danger in a one-sided Presidency and Congress, as we are beginning to see. Every debate, every legislative move becomes a circus panic across the nation, because there is no balance. The heavy-handed side of the house, whether it be dems or reps with the same party president, can ignore completely the wishes of the people. It is no longer than a governemnt run for the people and by the people; it becomes a government run for themselves and by themselves to the dismissal of ' we the people' . (more)

So round up the Muslims and stick them in stockades! We certainly have not declared a jihad against them! How many of our soldiers have cried while carried Muslim babies to safety?
Not one of them would do that for one of ours!
