I bet you are good at unraveling songs you like. Music is just poetry. Literature is often not terribly different from poetry -- longer, all free verse, fewer rhymes. : ) I blame the teachers and profs out there for not getting students more excited about this stuff. People love movies! Movies are just videos of novels and plays. Should be easy to make this stuff relatable to the Here&Now.; Maybe the education professionals have just gotten lazy? Or maybe it's all the meddling from local governing bodies, parents and politicians? Don't know, but it is a damned shame. And then the students blame themselves.

It's been awhile since I've left a message -- here, or on anyone's profile page. But your nominating me on that thread has given me the excuse to stop in, mainly to thank you again for such a sweet gesture.

One of the other things that life is all about: laughs. Sure got a couple out of your Chancellor of the Exchequer story. You're right: very Bush-like. Thanks for that. : )

Given the size of the universe, its immense age, and the almost uncountable stars keeping warm the nearly uncountable planets where life might arise, it's the most logical conclusion.
The numbers speak for themselves (see graphic above). : )
Anyway, just stopping in to wish you well with the a-levels and school in general. Take care.
: )
And now I will brag, just a little: I am known by a small circle locally as a pretty decent interpreter of dreams. So your instincts appear to be good on this point. Any time you have a dream you want unraveled, feel free to toss it my way. I will confess that I enjoy the challenge of cracking the riddle posed by an intriguing dream.
Hope all continues to go well with college, work. life, the universe and everything : )
ohh cute! :D lol well my bunny isnt really litter trained.. but he tries to be :P he has a cage inside. Hes a spoilt bunny but hes so cute! xP His names Fluffy ;)
Nice music, up there!! You've got a very big tatse.. everything from Craddle of Filth to Britney Spears!? lol, but most of it is good :)

Prove your awesomeness. Do it. DO IT NOW!!
You are LUCKY to be free of the power of ice cream! It is a weakness of mine that I have battled along with a few others. The coffee looks to be next to go. : (
Yes, I too am in the market for a job. Still have my old one, but am very tired of it, and so am looking. As you say, though, not the best time for job-hunting. Sorry that even McD's is at saturation. This economy may be a 'take what you can get' kind of thing. I'll wish you luck in your quest, and you can wish me luck in mine. : ) As for your computer, do your local libraries offer computer access free of charge? Ours do, so when you have no other way, that option is always there. Maybe not the best option, but when you've got nothing else...
SodaHead is very demanding, very tough on computers. It can easily overwhelm a browser with all the crap it tries to load. If you can get on here, then I'm surprised other sites like Facebook pose worse problems. But I also have no idea what's up with your computer. Whatever your e-mail is, have you tried to sign up with an alternative service, say Yahoo if you're already using (but now unable t...

Might be worth a try and a way for you to communicate with your Facebook/Myspace friend.
As for the music, yes, major Green Day fan, as anyone who knows me at all can tell (either by standing in my hovel, listening to what's coming out of my car, or visiting my page online). Just burned another copy of 'Dookie,' as a matter of fact. '21st Century Breakdown' is a worthy sequel to 'American Idiot.' For me, the most solid part of the album is the middle: 'East Jesus Nowhere;' 'Peacemaker;' 'Last of the American Girls;' '¿Viva La Gloria? (Little Girl);' 'Restless Heart Syndrome;' 'Horseshoes and Handgrenades;' '21 Guns.' Then again, those last two are from Act III, and a couple others I like — '21st Century Breakdown' and 'Before the Lobotomy' — are from the first Act. Safe to say I like pretty much everything on this album.
Very sorry to hear about the loss of your two beloved pets, how drawn-out and tragic it was. And about the other stuff, part of the inevitable damage life deals out. Sorry it has come upon you in the way it has all the same. Sadly, there is no avoiding this stuff.
Me? I'm experiencing joy and fear at the same time, pain and elation. And this after swearing off such things. In other words, I think I'm in love. : )
Life is an adventure from start to finish, you never know what's coming, and maybe that's for the best. Okay, must go. Good luck with the battle against the spiders!
