About Me
I'm a stay-Home Housewife, Writer, and Research Assistant to Husband.
I may as well admit that I'm also Dyslexic, to varying degrees based on my stress levels, so please overlook any odd spelling and such.
I am a card-carrying dyed-in-the-wool NerdGirl, I love sci-fi and not too shabby at console games although I haven't played in a while. If you want to know more about me, go ahead and ask questions, but remember that I do have plenty that keeps me quite busy so I cannot guarantee a time-frame on answers.
FYI, I'm 6'3 in bare feet and relaxed. 38HH-25-37 and exercise daily, love to swim. My profile pic is EXTREMELY close to my real appearance, and is as close as I'll ever come again to using a Real pic of myself online. Why? Bad experience. I'm generally pretty friendly and approachable, open-minded and fair.
Perfect? Hell NO. Not even freaking close!!
I just try to be decent and a good person is all. But, as some have learned the hard way, I may be feminine and well-mannered, I am nobody's doormat. I stand up for what I believe in, and for myself.

Swimming, exercising, walking with hubby just because, running down answers to tough questions hubby runs into on his job--ranging from looking up serial numbers for replacement controllers to the price per weight of carbon nanotubes or Fullerene (YES, I'm serious), almost anything BDSM-related (There are Limits though!!), Girl's Night with my friends, camping, cooking over a fire (good at that--not so good in kitchen)

He's Husband's oldest friend, they've known each other since they were 5, and he's one o those who were born to Servicemen exposed to Agent Orange during the New Brunswick spraying tests in the 60's. He's in bad shape because of it and because he's in his mid-forties--but as he wasn't supposed to live beyond his mid-twenties... He's my friend as well, and a truly nice, decent man with a good sense of humor even with the constant agony he lives in. He is Terminal, and the end is coming soon, so I Honor him while I can.

Hey, the photos are of Bondi Beach in Sydney, I used to live there, only a couple of minutes walk and I would be on the beach. Wow, 6ft. 3in, that is real tall, we are both Librans, not really into horoscopes but I have read many times that Librans like to have an equal balance in their lives and that word again I used in the other message, can be quite "emotional." Marlene, your right we never fully overcome it.. But each of us must deal with it in our own way.. At 15 I had a motorcycle accident, with a head injury among others. By His Grace! The words on pages of book's, I had tried to read before stopped falling off the end of the pages.. Back then they didn't know why or what this learning disablity was?

Dyslexic, was not even in the medical dictionary at that time.. Spending my early years of grade school in special education classes, but yet testing above average on the IQ
tests had them all stumped. hahaha.. In the next few years I made up two grades in school and graduated high school. After returning from Southeast Asia, I did attend a few years of College on VA benefits.. Never getting the degree I had set out for.. To busy working and raising my kids.. I still do live with Webster, within reach of any place I'm working. lol.. So like you, I hope people overlook my odd spelling and punctuations as such... I do put up with the wisecracks now and then about my paragraphs. lol..
