  Well, it's been the better part of a week, and I've yet to locate my trove of tickets stubs from concerts past... but I found one that was nesting in my wallet -- Reverend Horton Heat at House of Blues in San Diego, on Saturday, February 21, 2009 @ 7:00 p.m. $42.50.

The winner showed up, claimed the jacket and left. We tried calling him at home, but to no avail. So, I dialed up a friend, and we saw a free concert that night!).

  Nirvana -- Roxy Theater in Hollywood, Thursday, August 15, 1991 @ 8:00 p.m. $15.50. (Note -- this was the night before the filming of the 'Smells LIke Teen Spirit' video. Mid-show, Kurdt invited us all to participate in the shooting, and told us where it would be and what time to show up. I had pulled every string imaginable in order to be at the concert that night, and was simply unable to find a way to attend the next day's video shoot ... short of losing my job. In retrospect, I really should have gone ahead and done it. As it is, I can clearly see a few ex co-workers moshing it up in that video ;-).
  
  Armored Saint -- Jezebel's club in Anaheim, Saturday, September 28, 1991 @ 8:00 p.m. $14.00. (Note -- this show was cancelled with only a few days' notice :(. Wrathchild America was the scheduled opener).

The fact that Ted Neely and Carl Anderson reprised their central roles from the film made it that much more special).

  Megadeth -- Grove of Anaheim, Wednesday, September 12, 2007 @ 8:00 p.m. (Haven't found the actual ticket for this one, only the parking pass -- so I can't relay a price. This night is special though, as it was right around Dave Mustaine's birthday. Me & my two buds drew up a poster-sized 'birthday card' earlier in the afternoon, featuring a huge image of Vic Rattlehead brandishing a blazing candle. At the venue, as we waited line to get in, I approached everybody I could with an assortment of pens and invited them to sign it, or write a message to Dave, or whatever. We quickly ran out of room and had to start using the back of the poster board for autographs. It was a great night!
