About Me

I am a conservative independent. I have been so all my life. I had a Republican father and a Democrat mother. I grew up hearing both sides of everything, sometimes adamantly. I made up my mind at an early age that nobody was infallible and no one stance had ALL the answers. I decided to pick and choose my beliefs and philosophies and here I am.

I'd like to meet

Activities

Doing anything with my grandchildren is awesome!

Interests

I am an animal lover. I have been raising Golden Retrievers for about 10 years. I also have 2 goats, 2 cats, a yellow lab (that adopted me) a peek-a-poo, and we just got a Shorkie. I raised some beef this year and it's nice to know that what you're eating is free of drugs and weird hormones. And the taste harks back to the 60's when beef was usually locally grown.
I love to fish and sit on or by the water all day or all night. So relaxing and soul soothing. I am an artist and enjoy the creative process in any medium. I'm an avid reader and especially enjoy fiction about native cultures and the old west. I just started the Reagan Diaries and look forward to revisiting his strength and leadership. He may not have been perfect but we need a man like him again.

Thank you for the comments on my Gkids. I;m sorry about Cho Cho, he was adorable. I lost one of my Goldens after 14 years a couple years ago. It still hurts. We also have a Shorkie we got at Christmas and a Peek-a-Poo that is in failing health at 11 y.o. Hope your new little fella givee you many years of love and joy. Thanks for accepting. Mark

Beautiful grandkids...... I am a dog lover, thanks for comments on cho cho. Unfortunately he died at 13 years old this year, but we have a new pomaranium and he is just as precious. Thank you for inviting me to be your friend.
