About Me

Life is a pilgrimage of learning, a voyage of discovery, in which our mistaken views are corrected, our distorted notions adjusted, our shallow opinions deepened and some of our vast ignorances diminished. (by Stott)

Wake up America ... The Committee on Foreign Relations who endorses Obama's Drone Act has stated: “It is Legal, Ethical and Wise” to kill Americans!

I can be selfish, impatient, opinionated, and a bit more than just a little insecure. I make mistakes, sometimes I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But I am faithful so if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell can't handle me at my best

Take time to laugh, it is the music of the soul. Take time to think,
it is the source of power. Take time to read, it is the fountain of wisdom. Take time to love and be loved, it is a God-given privilege. Take time to work, it is the price of success.

"The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave." - Patrick Henry, Speech in the Virginia Convention, March 23, 1775

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile.

I would love to be loved like this ... for the rest of my life.
I'd die for her ... she lives for me ... now that's love.

"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.
~ Benjamin Franklin

I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. In my youth I travelled much, and I observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer."
~ Benjamin Franklin

Do not separate text from historical background. If you do, you will have perverted and subverted the Constitution, which can only end in a distorted, bastardized form of illegitimate government.
~ James Madison

"The difference between genius and stupidity is; genius has its limits." ~ Albert Einstein

"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and violent. It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage - to move in the opposite direction." ~ Albert Einstein

"Obama hasn't given us change we can believe in - he's trying to change what we believe." ~ Arizona1950

[Jesus] was, as you say, "the most benevolent Being that ever appeared on Earth." ~ John Adams toThomas Jefferson, Feb 2. 1816. Cappon, Adams-Jefferson Letters, vol. 2, p. 462.

First do what is necessary, then do what is possible, and before long you will find yourself doing the impossible. ~ St. Francis of Assisi

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot. " ~ Mark Twain
