About Me

I am married, and have a disabled, very, very ill husband at the moment. We have been married for 42 years in Sept. No children by choice. We have a wonderful dog though! And we just added a new baby cockatiel a few weeks ago. He is great fun. I was born in Wisconsin, and raised in New Mexico. But we lived in Massachusetts for several years and would dearly love to move back.

I'd like to meet

I would love to talk to our new president elect Barack Obama. I'm very interested in him.

Activities

Painting. Movies. Reading. I like to walk and swim for exercise.

Interests

I am a working artist. I paint with watercolor and pastels. I sold my first work when I was 13. I have done several gallery shows including a one woman show in Wocester Mass. I live in the desert Southwest and have painted everything from landscapes to seascapes. I do commission work now. And also do artist modeling from time to time.
I like to garden.

Favorite Music

Oh there are so many! But I am a huge Jeff Beck fan. Loved the British invasion. Hendrix, the Who. But I also like Queensryche, Iron Maiden and several others. Then some days I like to listen to Larry Carlton or Lee Ritenour. Then other times people like Robbin Ford.

House, True Blood, and CSI

Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Braveheart. I'm blank, there are so many more that I can't think of.

Favorite Books

I like Tess Gerritsen. She writes thrillers. The Surgeon, Bone Garden. I also like Garden of Sand by Earl Thompson

Favorite Quotes

It's not really a quote, but I was brought up to do a good deed everyday. That was something my mother taught me. I try my best to do just that.

Favorite Heroes

My late mother. And my many art teachers.
