Bo Diddley was a boxer??? Wow!! I shared that fact with my mom and she was over the moon about it. I LOVE Bo and especially Chuck Berry :) He was an ultimate showman, he could dance and sing. I also love Jerry Lee Lewis, but for some reason I never was too fond of Elvis. I don't know why though :( I listen to contemporary gospel sometimes too, but I'm stuck in the past and I go right back to Shirley Casear, Clara Ward, and Mahalia Jackson. I do not listen to any current R and B or Rap, it's nauseating in my opinion. Alicia Keys is very talented though. Here's a pic of my childhood favorite, and I loved your picture of Corduroy :)

Thanks for the friends request. However, you and I are opposite in just about everything and I'm very outspoken.

Read some of my posts and, if you want to renew your request, be my guest. if you do not, no harm, no foul.

I do not know what's up with SH in the last 24 hours but it claims my videos are too small all of a sudden; won't let me open up opinions when they're shut and on and on! Arghhh

As for classical music, I don't know much either, I like Tchaikovsky, but mostly I know him from The Nutcracker Suite, Most of the classical music I know are selections (not all of them do I know by name, unfortunately). Rhapsody on a theme from Paganini - Rachmaninoff, Puccini - La Boheme - Musetta's Waltz, all the music from Fantasia especially Waltz of the Flowers and The Sugar Plum Fairy, Four Seasons - Vivaldi, Moonlight Sonata - Beethoven, Sleeping Beauty Waltz - Tchaikovsky, Madame Butterfly aria - Puccini, Hall of the Mountain King - Grieg

I don't know much Jazz at all, just stop that managed to his the pop charts now and then way back in the day. I do like Enya, but only have one of her early CD's. I'm not much on contemporary rock, the last years I really liked any of it was about 1995 ! I'm out of touch with pop music, just like listening to old stuff, kind of eclectic taste. Music used to be a much bigger part of my life than it is now. Mostly I just listen to my CD's in my care.
