About Me

I am 60+, have a vivid imagination and use it upon occasion to the thrills of my friends. I have been divorced since 1998 and I'm Gran-Mo to my first grandchild, August 2010. I struggle with my personal demons but ultimately understand that I am forgiven and that makes all the difference in this world.

I'd like to meet

Jesus Christ (and I will soon) - Sarah (Abraham's wife) - my biological father - George Washington and ALL the Fathers of the Constitution - - Jesus mother, Mary - King David & Bathsheba - King Solomon - Queen Esther & Mordecia - Job (that servant who stood his ground for God as he lost all he had, including his wife, scouraged with boils from head to sole of foot, endured the psychological pain of alleged friends, but never gave up on his Creator. Job was recompensed with everything plus more than he ever dreamed of. That guy. :) - Joseph, from Pauper to Prince of Egypt - Cleopatra & Caesar - Moses & Rameses.

There is no movie star, music player/singer, television personality(nat'l or local), celebrity of any stripe that I have a wish to meet. I would not walk across the street to meet the POTUS. The ones I admire lived long before I came around and they shaped this country into the most coveted nation in the world. Another reason why the Muslims hate us.

Anyway, I would like to meet Tasine, a female member here at Sodahead who is staying on top of immigration issues in the Great State of Arizona. She's a vibrant senior with solid points about this administration.
My male choice to meet would be

Activities

Student of Biblical history, sharing time with shut-ins, seniors, and strangers. Interest in whistleblowers and what they have discovered.

Interests

I love to Garage-Sale and haggle with the folks. I like Re-Sale shops/stores, never paying retail prices for things I want or need. I'm into animal behavior, what makes 'em do what they do and why. I LOVE babies, as I have been a Gran-mo since August 16, 2010. Adam is my cherub. Enjoy surfing the net for political stories and updates, also commenting on other's comments.

Have recently discovered a passion for religious history, art and doctrines of various denominations. Love to sing but have lost my "little canary trills" long ago, due to damage of cigarettes.

I'm more involved in politics this election cycle than ever before. The more I learn, the angrier I become. How about you?

Praise and Worship, Motown and all it's heyday talent. Marvin Gaye (R.I.P.), Older black artist. The Temptations, The Supremes, Ray Charles, Lionel Ritchie, Quincy Jones, the Jackson 5, and the list goes on. Neil Diamond, Some Beatles stuff. Liking a little, some C& W stuff.
Love dancing to DISCO! Great exercise, especially for the legs, ladies! :)

Favorite TV Shows

History Channel2, Discovery and GB until he split with FOX. I get stuck on the AWWW factor with Animal Planet sometime, so try hard to avoid it.;) I like investigative shows, like murder mysteries (true stories), documentaries, Ventura's show, Brad Metzger's Decoded, conspiracy theories. The bogeyman :D:D:D

Anything with Lawrence Olivier, Cary Grant, Stewart Granger, Mel Gibson, Liam Neeson, Jim Caveizel, Viggio Mortenson, Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, and Denzel Washington.

Favorite Books

NON-FICTION: Bible, political exposes, history books on Presidents. True Mysteries, murder-mysteries. Adventure; looking for a hidden fortune with an old barely decipherable map. FiCTION: Walter Farley books, boys and horses.

Man, it's Wednesday already! Sheesh, where does it go? :) You have a flowing Thursday and Friday. I will be in the dentist chair at high noon tomorrow, so I think I'll take a nerve (anti-anxiety) pill before I leave :D
