Would You Be a Good Wife or Husband?
You Would Be a Good Spouse 80% of the Time You Would Be a Good Spouse 80% of the Time You have what it takes to be an amazing wife or husband. You are caring, patient, giving, and romantic. You are willing to work for a marriage. More than anything, you're not about to let your ego ruin a relationship. You are humble and unselfish. And that's the key to being a good spouse. *I guess this explains why I have such a successful marriage. :) -
What is the cure for racism?
Undecided
We should combine many of the choices. It should be acknowledged and then we should work through it. Racism happens to EVERY race, just in different degrees and forms. Please Note: Placing blame on a particular group of people doesn't help solve the problem, it adds to it. -
How Frequently Should President Obama address all Public School Students?
YEARLY: The President should get one interruption per year
I am not sure how to answer this question because I would like to hear the speech and see the outcome. I would like to see whether it was inspiring and whether the students took something from it. If all goes well, perhaps every semester? -
Obama Sickout: Should Parents keep their kids out during President Obama's address to public schools?
No: Let the kids listen to the president
As a teacher in south Bronx, I believe we need as many role-models stressing the importance of education as possible. Of course we teach the children about the importance of education but it does help for them to hear it from others... even Glenn Beck for that matter. From my understanding, we are also required to teach the kids about national service. Next Friday (9/11), we are all leaving the classroom for the "National Day of Service." Perhaps this speech will illustrate that action as well. If Obama uses his platform for partisan political purposes, then the right-wingers have a point. But until we all hear the speech, we can't judge it. Furthermore, keeping kids out of school because we don't agree with the curriculum sends a bad message and devalues education. In that case, I should have sat out the whole "U.S. History" course in my grade school days because that curriculum falsified the history of the Native Americans. However, I continued to go because it was required of me and I also had to learn that sometimes I may not agree with everything that is taught or expected out of me but I still have to fulfill my obligations. -
If the Canadian health care system is so HATED by the Canadians... why was it's designer voted as the GREATEST CANADIAN IN HISTORY??!??
Because they DON'T hate their health care system.
I have a couple of Canadians on my friendlist. NONE of them complain about their health insurance. In fact, living in NYC I meet many Canadians and I am yet to meet ONE who hates/hated their health coverage. -

Why are Americans Afraid of Socialism?
None of the above
Because they are too ignorant to realize that socialism already exists and they happily accept it. They would rather allow greedy corporate lords rule our country than the people. Think: schools, fire department, police department, social security, medicare, army, marines, coast guard, navy, etc. -
