About Me

I am someone who sees the glass as nearly full. There is always room for improvement, but looking at the negative side of life gets you nowhere. Life is to be lived in the now - not regretting the past and not worrying about the future. I do everything I am capable of to make today a great day, not only for me, but for this great country that I love dearly. My husband and I raised two very responsible, intelligent, thoughtful sons. They are young men anyone would be proud of. I have two beautiful granddaughters who mean the world to us. I know that they will become fantastic young women and I hope to see them succeed at anything and everything they try. God has been so good to our family. We're blessed with good health - not perfect, but at our age not many have perfect health. We've always had great jobs in our chosen careers and now we can reap the benefits of those years of hard work.

Well it so happens that I am the one in my family with the diabetes. And at 66 am trying to get my first hip replacement. The show ring was a pain for me, but Lizzie did it in stride, excuse the pun.
Deckers do get on the LARGE side. Mine are all standards. All are right at 17 - 18 lbs. I will see you on Sodahead. I am a Conservative Constitutionalist, and 64-68 veteran who loves this country.
Retired and just go fishing and bowhunting when I can. The rest of the time is with my Rats!

I know that is a Rat Terrier! I have three and Yes I do Love My Dogs too. Lizzie is now 18 months old. She won her UKC Championship in Conformation at 7 1/2 months. I hope to breed her next year to a Top Show dog out here. Echo from Kingpenkennels.com has 7 different Championships.
and was just named the first AKC Best of Breed at the Eukanuba show in Long Beach CA.
