my original avatar was a photo i found on the web - it "represents" my inner child and my past - i was a rowdy youth, smoking, drinking, getting into trouble ... i'm a grown-up now: a 30-year husband, a 23-year dad, i work, bring home the bacon, occasionally fry it up in the pan, take out the kitchen trash nightly, blah blah blah ... the photo is nobody i know, nobody i am related to ... it's my "inner child" ... none of my own kids is anything like that and i'm no longer like that myself ... but i still have affection for the kid i used to be.

but today (2012-02-07) i have been shamed into changing my avatar ...

Actually the name was part of an old experiment I ran here. I tried to emulate an advanced machine intelligence, giving smart but naive answers and comments. I only succeeded for about a week before people knew though. Ah well...
