  I understand that what happened to that young women was horrific. But please think about this, a rapist rapes, and many torture and murder, they are just plain, pure evil. It has nothing to do with an entire nationality/country. That is stereo typing and it is wrong. Truth is, rape and every other evil some of the human race seem to be born unto, are as old as the human race itself and that evil permeates all cultures around the world.
  I had to face the same thing myself. I stereo typed the entire world's male population for a long time, they were all rapists, murderers, pedophiles and incestuous P.O.S. because I was given my first beating along with my mother while I was in the womb by the sperm donor (my mom said I was born angry because of it), I was anally raped by my maternal Grandfather when I was 3. I couldn't poop for weeks so his deranged wife gave me enemas (see, even some women have that evil, sadistic nature. I was raped by a friend of my then husband when I was 34. I don't even want to get into what my husband bestowed upon me. Put it this way, it landed me in the hospital. It was great standing handcuffed in the courtroom listening to how I committed an assault and battery by biting my boyfriend while standing there with people staring at me wondering how my face got so beat up and my blonde hair was caked with blood and my white shirt and white jeans had blood all over them. They did eventually take me barefooted, no jacket, out in the cold, to the hospital to get staples put in my head a few hours after the arrest. But eventually I realized that it was wrong to hate all men. I still have trust issues with men, I do not do relationships, only friendships. But when I become friends with a good man, I don't let him go. And in my life they have been few and far between. But there still are good men and I can't judge the whole sex because of the evil ones. I guess we probably all have done it some point in our lives. Just as you should try not to judge an entire race. And damn it, it's hard as hell to change, ahhhhhhhh, lol!
  I am friends with an Indian gentleman and his wife. They do not like what goes on in their country and they were willing to give up their home to have a better life. And he treats his wife like gold. They own a package store in town and they are wonderful people.
  As far as torture, rape, murder and the atrocities done on that poor woman, you can find many stories similar to what happened to her here in the U.S. done by U.S. citizens.
  Many men in the United States have a false notion that women, mostly through what they consider the evil Feminist movement, have gained true equality and that no war exists upon us any more ... especially in the U.S. they say. I'm here to tell them that THAT simply is not true. Who should know best, the man or the woman experiencing her world? Right? And anyone that knows about Human Trafficking, this false notion is even more apparent.
  The majority of victims are young girls and women.
  This is just one state but it happens in all states. Hmm, I wonder who the clients are? Could they be "Americans".
  "sex trafficking of young girls is not an isolated phenomenon, but a widespread criminal activity in Texas.[40] The research found that 740 girls under age 18 were documented being marketed for sex during a 30-day period in Texas, of whom 712 of these girls were being marketed through Internet classified web sites and 28 were being marketed through escort services.[40] More information concluded from the research is that there are more girls being trafficked for sex in Texas during one month than there are women killed in domestic violence with former or current husbands, intimate partners or boyfriends in Texas over an entire year.[40] There are more girls being trafficked for sex in Texas during one month than there are females of all ages who died from complication due to AIDS in one year in Texas.[40] And finally, there are more girls being trafficked for sex in Texas during one month than there are teen girls who died by suicide, homicide, and accidents in the state in one year.[40]"
  A 2011 paper published in Human Rights Review, “Sex Trafficking: Trends, Challenges and Limitations of International Law,” notes that, since 2000, the number of sex-trafficking victims has risen while costs associated with trafficking have declined: “Coupled with the fact that trafficked sex slaves are the single most profitable type of slave, costing on average $1,895 each but generating $29,210 annually, leads to stark predictions about the likely growth in commercial sex slavery in the future.” In 2008, 12.3 million individuals were classified as “forced laborers, bonded laborers or sex-trafficking victims,” the study states. Approximately 1.39 million of these individuals worked as commercial sex slaves, WITH WOMEN AND GIRLS COMPRISING 98%, OR 1.36 MILLION, OF THIS POPULATION.[30] Oh my heart hurts : (
  And I nearly lost my mind when they legalized sex selection abortion in the United States. Try to guess what babies get wacked because of their sex, girls of course. Can't blame the moms or dads really, they know most sick, perverted men love little girls.
  So what is going on in this country and around the world clearly shows that the war against females is real. Nothing has changed no matter how many men in this country think it has. The facts of what men do, do not lie. They are written in history and the barbarism continues into the 21 century. Hard not to feel doomed.
  It would be true to say that "some" women have gained but the assaults against many of us continue as they always have. Every baby step women have taken they have had to fight very hard for. Equal pay still does not exist and the rape, beating, torture and discrimination against women still exists on many levels. And the horrors that befall so many children in this country, it makes me want to cry. I don't experience the PTSD any more, I've got me a much tougher shell now and I judge individuals not entire groups.
  I know this is silly, but it saddens me because even in fiction about the human races future, as in Star Trek The Next Generation, rape still exists. There was an episode where Troy was being sexually assaulted. But at least they got rid of money : )

  LOL, come on you don't look a day over 40! No, I absolutely meant it. Your hair is beautiful!! I have been patiently *cough* waiting for my hair to turn one color. I stopped dying it 3 years ago. I want to be au naturale. Got rid of the makeup and most of the jewelry to make way for more important things like family, friends and hobbies and flapping my gums all over the internet, lol.
  Photographer! Do you have a web site where I can check out your photos? I love taking pictures. I still have my 33 year old Praktica TL 1000 35mm I got in 1980. I've been wanting to dig it out of the closet and get some film and go crazy, I miss it! I got lazy AND it saves money so I went digital. Soon : )
