About Me
My name is Spencer, or Spence (either one). I'm 19, and I live about an hour West of Philly. I just graduated from high school, and am taking a year or so off to organise my life. I am really shy, and have issues with anxiety and depression, but I'm working on it. My close friends can testify that around them, I never shut up. Despite my slightly misanthropic shell, I really do like people and hate being alone. Two of my big aspirations are to work on cars (and to some day have a collection of them), and to eventually become a more-than-decent guitarist.
Feel free to message me if you want. I'm always up for a conversation.
Peace out! :-)

Activities
Singing and playing guitar, especially when I can do so with other people; watching baseball (favorite team is the Philadelphia Phillies); building/making stuff, as well as taking stuff apart; biking; being a pyromaniac (basically doing anything having to do with fire); and thinking, can't forget that one.
Interests
My main interests are music (guitar and singing, mostly), anything cars, photography, and really anything creative. I am also interested in psychology (especially when it comes to criminals, such as serial killers, spree killers, etc; pretty dark, I know), astronomy, and in science in general. I also love animals, especially dogs.
Favorite Music
I really have too many favorite bands to list, but some genres that I listen to the most are thrash metal, heavy metal, hard rock, progressive rock, classic rock, alternative (grunge-era), and punk (the real stuff: Ramones, Sex Pistols, Green Day, etc). I don't listen to very much new music (mostly stuff from the 1960's to 1990's), and most of the newer music I like is from bands that have been around for a while.
Favorite TV Shows
MacGyver, Top Gear (UK), South Park, Mythbusters, Law & Order, Jackass, House, Tosh.0, Workaholics, Dirty Jobs, American Chopper, Seinfeld, The X Files, Spongebob (who doesn't like Spongebob?), and CSI. List incomplete and not in that order.
I also like educational TV, such as stuff they show on the Science Channel and History 2.

Favorite Movies
Back To The Future trilogy, the Jackass movies, First Blood (Rambo) and First Blood part II, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Bourne Trilogy, Rocky (the first 4; I haven't seen 5 or 6), Star Wars saga (especially the original trilogy), Dark Night trilogy, Inglorious Basterds, The Shining, and The Breakfast Club.
Favorite Books
I'm not a very big reader, but when I find a book I like, I really get into it. Steven King is an amazing writer, and I am looking to read more of his books. I like comics, especially The Far Side and Calvin & Hobbes. I also read Car & Driver Magazine.
Favorite Quotes
"There are times when all the world's asleep,
The questions run so deep
For such a simple man.
Won't you please, please tell me what we've learned,
I know it sounds absurd
But please tell me who I am."
-- SuperTramp, "Logical Song"
"They say there's a heaven for those who will wait.
Some say it's better, but I say it ain't.
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints,
The sinners are much more fun."
-- Billy Joel, "Only The Good Die Young"
"Would those of you in the cheaper seats clap your hands? And the rest of you, if you'll just rattle your jewelry."
-- John Lennon (during the Beatles performance at the Royal Variety Show)
"Where there is shouting, there is no true knowledge"
-- Leonardo da Vinci

Favorite Heroes
Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan, Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, and all other brilliant minds that have helped advance the scientific cause, to start with. Musically, I have been inspired by the likes of Eddie Van Halen, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Kurt Cobain.

Not me, that's for sure. At home I can relate to my mom, but no one else, and at school I can relate to only very few people, since the majority of my school consists of popular people who's lives are the opposite of mine. :/
