Opinion: I like to experience new cultures. Food is right under that. I agree with Anthony Bourdain, you experience a culture through the food.

Roller Skates or Rollerblades?

About Me

I'm from Long Island, NY but moved to Pittsburgh, PA because of a job relocation. I'm still a NYer at heart.
I am first a Sage, then a Long Island girl, then a NYer, then a proud citizen of the USA... all before I'm a citizen of the world. I think we need to look local before we look global.

I'd like to meet

Honestly, if I could meet anyone (even those that are deceased) I'd like to meet some of my ancestors.
Many of them did amazing things and I'd love to have a sit down with them and ask them for words of wisdom.

Crossfit - I'm hooked.

Interests

My interests are first and foremost.... SPORTS. I'm a football, hockey, golf, soccer, baseball/ softball watching and playing girl.
I love the NY Jets, the Yankees, the NY Rangers.
I do NOT consider NASCAR a sport. Its driving a car, transportation.
Is riding a bus a sport? No, neither is NASCAR.
I enjoy reading in my spare time. I'm a sci-fi thriller fan (love Isaac Asimov) and a Steven King fan (though some of the scary ones need to be put down for a little while ;-) )
My dog is the most important part of my life. She is first and foremost. She gets me out of the house for long walks and greets me with a tail wagging every day.
