Personally, i think it will be someone tied in to a homeless shelter. The video from the "caller" was talking about people not being wanted by their families, homeless shelters give that SAME impression..... maybe an ex-military or police training personell i think. Someone who didnt have a problem with taking lives based on their own understanding of how things should be.

I've always wondered about Ted Kaszynski being Zodiac. I would imagine most if not all the evidence is disintergrated to the point where it would be impossible to find out who it was for sure.

There are several good sites/forums that talk about this possibility. The best I can remember, TK was in California during that time, working as a math professor. Capable of making those wierd incriptions/signs. Check them out; they're quite interesting and he is not the only suspect.

Probably not. If they had Casey Anthony and let her go, they wouldn't have a clue what to do with him if he was still alive.

I believe they had the guy: Arther Allen. Saw police interview him on TV in front of his mothers home that he lived in. But due to poor police tactics, let him go.

Well, Steve...for me there is a lot of factors that say it's this guy (check out the link). But when I saw the TV interview, I also saw tell tale things about him in that interview that made me suspicious from the git go.

Not sure, but back then DNA was not a perfect science. Had the police done a better interview with a search warrant, they would have had him.

the person cant be that old according to his estimated age in 1969, the zodiac killer would be in his early to mid 70s.

Because we have great forensics now that wasn't around with Jack the Ripper. I believe that Jack the Ripper would have been solved if it happened now.

I think there is DNA in the Zodiac case. When Obamacare happens the gov will have access to everyone's DNA.

whether it can be or not,the Zodiac killer will still be one of the smartest and most elusive serial killers in North America or even the world ,no other serial killer has been able to avoid capture, even BTK killer slipped up when he wrote a letter to the newspaper,I think the question is,if he is still alive or has he died already, or his he going to come clean before he does die just to let tthe world know who he is,
I think the only way that it will be solved now is if he commits another murder or comes clean himself any evidence they have from the other murders have gone through so many hands of investigator and csi guys that it would be contaminated.
