Mom, Jane Pitt is living in the past and is a good christian who don't like the idea of fair play for all and is a Big Romney supporter who don't think Gays should be allowed to get married. And, is no love lost on Obama.
"Any Christian who does not vote or writes in a name is casting a vote for Romney's opponent, Barack Hussein Obama -- a man who sat in Jeremiah Wright's church for years, did not hold a public ceremony to mark the National Day of Prayer, and is a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage," Jane wrote.

Then you have her son Brad who is a supporter for Obama, and who does support the gay rights issues.Brad, of course, has been an adamant supporter of Obama. The actor and his fiancee Angelina Jolie have met with the president several times, to discuss issues like the rebuilding of New Orleans (the mission of one of Pitt's charities) and sexual violence against women in Bosnia (a topic of Jolie's directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey).

The most famous Pitt has also been an outspoken advocate of gay marriage. For years, Brad swore that he wouldn't marry Angelina until it was legal for all U.S. citizens to marry. In May, following the news of his engagement, Brad said he was still hopeful that the U.S. could "figure out marriage equality" before he walks down the aisle.

Then their is Doug who is a supporter to the Democratic party but wants to remain neutral at this dinner table. We are just having argument at the dinner table except we are doing it in the media area.
As for Doug -- well, he's in no hurry to share his political views (though public records revealed that he donated to a Democratic Congressional campaign in 2010). What's clear is that all the Pitts are passionate about their beliefs. And even though Doug swears his family only has "healthy discussions," we'd still like to give them all a word of advice: Don't bring up politics at the wedding!

What I found funny about Jane Pitt's letter was that she seemed to be saying that even as a Christian I'm going to hold my nose and vote for the Mormon.
Didn't see it as that great of an endorsement for Romney.

    Outta' Here.
    Your analysis is wrong.
Jane and Brad Pitt are both adults with every right to have their own opinion.
No one gives a damn if it doesn't mesh with yours.

I am reminded of the upstanding Rabis who were horrified at the message that Jesus was spreading. They were the pillars of the community and he was part of the rabble. They never missed an opportunity to say how he was mixing with the wrong kind of people. How dare he go about his so called work on the Sabbeth. They had money and respectability and it was easy for them to convince some of wickedness of this Johnny come lately. Jesus made it sound like a crime to be rich. They had to destroy him and there are the same kind of people out there today. The apostles asked why if his message of loving one another was so simple why did not everyone understand it. Jesus answered, "Because of the hardness of their hearts." It is so much easier to blame the victims even today. Herman Cain declared that if you are not rich you have to blame yourself. And so it goes with conservative ideoloty. They believe povety is fault of the poor.

    Damn.... hit the wrong answer.

Families disagree all the time on political AND religious views.
WHY, any of these people's particular opinion should be any more important than the newspaper-boy or the person who just bagged you groceries is the real mystery.
