YOU KNOW OBAMA IS DESPERATE WHEN HE CHANGES UNEMPLOYMENT FROM 8.3 TO 8.254%
If President Bush were to have tried this nonsense he’d have been the laughingstock of the evening news circuit.
The White House is really getting specific when it comes to the unemployment rate.
Rather than 8.3% — the rounded-up figure — Obama economic adviser
Alan Krueger writes on the White House website that the real jobless
rate is 8.254%.“The household survey showed that the unemployment rate ticked up to
8.3% in July (or, more precisely, the rate rose from 8.217% in June to
8.254% in July),” wrote Krueger, chairman of the Council of Economic
Advisers. He added: “Acting BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) Commissioner John
Galvin noted in his statement that the unemployment rate was
‘essentially unchanged’ from June to July.”We doubt that Republican Mitt Romney and his allies will draw that distinction.
“Today’s increase in the unemployment rate is a hammer blow to struggling middle-class families,” Romney said in a statement.
Other GOP members mocked Krueger for declaring the jobless rate at 8.254%.
Republican Party spokeswoman Kirsten Kukowski said, “23 million
people struggling for work isn’t a rounding error. And the White
House’s attempts to argue show just how out of touch they are.”
And it is also a shame that the Kept-Whores refuse to trumpet the
all-important number no one wants to talk about: the absolute raw
number of how many people are unemployed or under-employed relative to
the overall population.
Or the number of jobs Obama needs to create JUST TO GET TO PRE-RECESSION LEVELS ….. 11,000,000!!!!!!!!!

The trick is that when those 5 million are not counted as in the work force, they are not counted as unemployed either. They may desperately need and want jobs. They may be in poverty, as many undoubtedly are, with America suffering today more people in poverty than in the entire half century the Census Bureau has been counting poverty. But they are not even counted in that 8.3% unemployment rate that Obama and his media cheerleaders were so tirelessly celebrating last week.

And Barry has topped that by running the whole country into the ground.
You can blame some of the '08 unemployment rate on House and Senate Democrats, they promised to do someyhing about the 5-6% rate if they won both Houses in '06, but spent the entire time distracted with bitting Bush's ankles instead.
So the choice was made, and the results are in.
