Had Maxtenius won instead of Constantine, the pagan religions would have continued and Christianity would have been exterminated. From then until the end of the Western Empire, there was constant religious infighting between groups, with many wiped out to the youngest members of the family. A very Roman way of dealing with desent. This also occurred in the Eastern Empire as well, but the East was also fighting the West in their religious views. So, if Constantine the Great had not made Christianity the state religion, Islam would never have become a religion, and none of the history that followed in their bloody foot prints would have occurred. 9-11 would never have happened.

Property is a loaded word, but the wife is supposed to be subservient and obedient to the husband. It is the husband's duty to teach the wife to subservient and a loyal helpmate.

So, in this case, Muhammad was quoting St Paul in ordaining that the wife should obey her husband and that she should keep her hair covered, so in this case Islam is right because it stole its teaching from Christianity. Note that it is man that is created in the image of God, but woman is created only to satisfy the needs of man.
