Would You Vote for Bill Clinton Over Barack Obama?

Chris D 2012/09/06 19:00:00
You!
Add Photos & Videos
Former president Bill Clinton stole the show Wednesday night at the Democratic National Convention, which is exactly why President Obama was hesitant to include him in the program. Clinton was also very critical of Obama in 2008 when he was in the run-off with Hillary, so there was some bad blood being put to bed last night. Americans seem to still be enamored with Bill Clinton. He is a very eloquent speaker, and has the ability to get people focused on the big picture items. If you had to vote for either Bill Clinton or Barack Obama for president, who would you pick?

Clinton didn't try to divide the country to get reelected like this guy.
Clinton is a smart man who's views were more towards the center as opposed to lefty Obama.

There should have been an "undecided" or "it depends" choice on this one. If the choice came down to one of the two it would depend on how they faced off on details in the particular circumstance at the time. If it was 2008 again it would probably have been Bill Clinton, mostly because he was the "known" at that time. My preference was actually Hillary Clinton in 2008. But I can't say for sure which it would be now between Bill Clinton and Barack Obama because they aren't "facing off". They are well matched in speaking ability and intelligence so the devil would be in the details.

But I guess we know where all the racist votes are going on this question. Against anyone but Obama, yes. But the current president has the vigor of youth and is in closer touch with the realities of the times. I would, however, like to see Bill in a greater advisory position--but one where he wouldn't be required to work away into the wee hours 24-7.

    YOUR RIGHT!!!!
Our economy is booming. Unemployment is minute and the world LOVES us! The deficit is down and our debt is steadily declining.

The only reason not to vote for Obama is because of the color of his skin.

Wow, didn't take long for you to play the race card did it. I have no problem with people of any color and have bi-racial relatives and not just black. It would be a boring world if everyone were the same color and ethnicity. And for your information, my dog isn't mangy and he's very intelligent and loyal. I disagree with President Obama's policies and his vision for our country and it makes no difference what his color is. The race card is what his supporters play when they have nothing else.

the race play is what those of your mindset have always used in this country. you know the history, and you know it started when the conquerors hit plymouth rock. you birdbrains are really birdbrains. you and yours get upset when the truth is slapped in your faces. you charging me with the race card play is typical of your kind; but doesn't deter me at all. the deck is yours.

History lesson, the KKK were democrats. Also, I own my own home and it doesn't have wheels. Have you ever voted for a republican or do you only vote for whomever has the D after their name? I have voted for both D's and R's. I vote the best person, not the party.
  • squire idonia11 2012/09/10 19:22:22

sure, and they all happen to be republicans of course. now, as far as the kkk goes those democrats were called 'DIXIECRATS", AND THEY DID NOT WANT THE BLACK MAN TO BE RELEASED FROM SLAVERY. truth is, they were all white men and truly their political party meant nothing.

How does that sound?? We will vote for someone who has the same ideas and ways of running the country as Obama only difference in them is the skin color and one has resigned for lying about getting head from a lady...
Mabye he did make the country good during his one term but after 8 years of Republicans at their worst, he and Obama would do the same exact things... bill and barack

Clinton NEVER "resigned" -- he was "impeached" -- but went on and continued in office like business as usual. (the President who "resigned" was Richard Nixon, who we thankfully never even had to imagine getting nor giving head to anyone)
