More and more people dislike the 2-party focus, and wish for more choices to choose from on Election Day. Even if the Big Spots choose for us the few that will run for office, we would like to see more people on the ballot. After all, this IS a democracy, isn't it?

What it takes, is for a message to be popular with enough of the populous to get the candidate on the ballot.
For instance, Abe Lincoln won the 1860 election with less than 40% of the vote in a 4-way race. That is still possible today, only that at least 34% of America would have to agree on that one candidate while none of the others received more support.
