Romney, although not perfect as none of us are, seems to have a core value of decency. While Obama does not seem to have any core values, only values that try and win him votes.

Romney thinks homosexuality is wrong (as does God), Obama thinks it is fine (as does satan). Romney has a track record of attending a Christian-oriented church. Obama attended "reverend" Wright's racist church of hate for 20-years.

    I'd rather have a President with "I fully support homosexuality" values and true Christian values, because the two are not inconsistent. It is only the fundamentalist American Ayatollahs who interpret scripture to demonize homosexuality.

    I'm sorry you don't know what God thinks, that's pretty damn prideful and isn't that a sin? Ooops.

    I want a President who cares about equal rights, religion doesn't matter and nowhere in the Constitution does it state that the POTUS must be a certain religion.

    i would like to have a president, that has christian values, understands, supports the bible, instead of playing with fire, just to get votes to stay in for president, then turn around and let so many people down..can-not straddle the fence, might rip your pants.

    How about a president that respects the citizens privacy and freedom from religion? If you don't want to be in a same sex marriage, simply don't. Expecting others to feel that way is silly. I don't like country music, should I demand that it be removed completely? I think the game of baseball is boring, should it stop being played? No.

    Thank you! the biggest opponents claim homosexuality is a "choice" well, so is music or sports. I choose that those things bother me, so *poof* they must be gone! It's ridiculous when I say it, just as ridiculous when they say it. Notice, no one has any logical comment against it? because there is not logic to their opposition. Yet, they continue to oppose.     Its not freedom from religion. It freedom of religion. Which you liberal ass's don't seem to understand is we have that freedom due to the founders writing the Bill of Rights. Which says we are endowed by our creator( God).

    can you explain the difference between from and of in that context? FREEDOM OF RELIGION MEANS ANYONE CAN PRACTICE ANYTHING THEY DAMN WELL PLEASE AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T HARM ANOTHER PERSON. Freedom from religion, freedom of religion IN THAT CONTEXT is pretty much interchangeable, ass. (you called me that, i felt it was free game to return the favor)

    And, once again it is not OUR creator. It's YOUR creator. There is a big difference. Funny, you are citing freedom OF religion, yet in the same post claim simply because YOU believe in god somehow everyone must also. You do realize majority of the signers weren't even religious, right? They moved thousands of miles across a dangerous ocean, violently steal land from the Native Americans (which they oppressed TERRIBLY FYI) so they could escape the oppression from the Monarchy. Hypocrites. from the very beginning.

    Supporting equal rights for homosexuals [and everyone else] IS the Christian value.

    When did bigotry/exclusion/"I've got mine and I'm gonna make sure you don't get even the leftover crumbs" become accepted as a "Christian value" anyway?

    This is a no-brainer. I don't know how many ways I can say this: I don't care what the presidents religion is, and neither should you. All that matters, is whether or not he will make this country better, than it would be without him/her.
    Gays are an important part of our society, just as people of other races, religions and nationalities, are. I want a president who will stand for equality for ALL Americans.

    You don't know what god thinks, nor satan (at least I hope not, if you do you might want to get that checked out), he condems the action not the people. Although I do think Obama changed his views on homosexuality simply for votes and that is horribly wrong. Either you believe its ok or you don't, don't fake it for the cameras.

    And before someone can quote the bible on me, it is flawed. Translation has more than likely changed the meaning of every damn passage in that book. You can't translate that often from that old of a language and have it be right when it comes out in english.

    Also, I believe and love god so all of you who try to say otherwise are simply moronic.

    Christian morals are a great starting point for everyone, but there is a limit to what each person thinks is right and you should NEVER shove it in someone else's face. Now if Romney is a good person (which I hope he is because is seems he will be the winner) then he doesn't need to have just christian morals, he needs to have good morals PERIOD. If he can't tell whats right and wrong without religion then he needs to do some serious soul searching. You don't need to attach a religion to be a good person.

Obama isn't promoting homosexuality, he's merely recognizing and accepting it (it isn't like it's a choice). If homosexuality is wrong, why did "god" create homosexuals (and doesn't "god" create everything??) Thank you for your hate-mongering; America needs haters, too...

    I support Mr. Romney, but don't think it is right to legislate morality. My non support of a political candidate is predicated on how I think they will lead-IMO Mr. Obama has been a failure.

    The POTUS does not have to BE a Christian (neither Romney nor 0bozo are, IMO); s/he SHOULD have values in line with the founding values of this nation, though.
