Consider the loading of 'waitress' error [instead of 'waiter' or 'staff' or 'employee' of a restaurant] and see that 96% of these answers are much too apathetic or antagonistic and completely disappointing to 'traditional values'.

As long as the food tastes great, and the service is good, I could care less who serves me my food.

Hell, I'll even let Santorum serve the food (as long as his hands are clean).

A waitress takes my order and brings me my food. Other than that they do not affect my life in any way, so why would I object to something that has absolutely nothing at all to do with me?

Most transgendered people are those that you would not even be able to tell that they are not the gender that they look like. Just likeing to cross dress does not make a person a transgender.

Actually transgenderism is a disorder of the brain chemistry more often than not. But why does that give you a right to call them insane or messed up? It's not like you go around looking for other people with disabilities who are trying to make a living and call them insane.

Generally a transgendered person will have a brain chemistry which is wired to operate as the opposite sex, therefore, for their whole lives, they feel they are in the wrong body. This is a real disorder, and no there isn't a "cure", they only have the choice of sticking with their body or changing it to fit the brain, it's a tough life and you should not be so judgemental.

    Oh really?

Depression is a disorder of the brain, bipolar is disorder of the brain, OCD is a disorder of the brain. I suppose whenever you meet someone who is depressed you start to mock them and call them insane?

    Some moral person you are.

So, I'm saying it's not really fair to mock people over something they have no control over.

Anyone who thinks someone can control being transgender is blatantly stupid. When did you decide to be your assigned gender?

    See how dumb that sounds?

Then you obviously don't understand the transgender condition whatsoever. Maybe you should read into it.

Then you would understand it's not a mental disorder but a medical condition. The only mental disorder associated with being transgender is depression.
