Dude, I have 12 very good friends. 6 are white, 3 are black and 3 are Hispanic. I know this because I only send out 12 Christmas cards each year to my best friends.
Their presence is inappropriate for children; the increasing presence of homosexual characters is responsible for so many people deciding to live the homosexual lifestyle.
Especially for Shows aimed toward Youth. Gay Youth should have characters they can look up to and relate to. They're a part of society too. It's not fair to exclude them.
Yes. To give them someone who can show them a bright future and that it gets better. LGBT Teens are people too. And they don't deserve to be excluded from society. It's hard enough being a teen as it is. But to be a LGBT teen is even worse. Especially with all the bullying and discrimination that goes toward LGBT People.
Unfortunately, I have (on TV). That was close enough. Wife was mad because I hurled all the way to the bathroom. Stomach was empty by then. Felt bad for her...having to clean it up. (I wasn't going to touch it.) I wonder if Barney Frank was in one and I wonder what he wore.
10-15% of the World Population is Openly LGBT... 2-4% of the USA is Openly LGBT... Your statistics are wrong. Plus, shows and movies are technically their own worlds and universes, etc... So even adding a Gay character to every show wouldn't be exaggerating it... I find it quite cruel that you don't think LGBT Youths should have characters they can relate to and look up to...
Having them there doesn't bother me but don't overdo it. Really don't need a gay character in every show that comes on TV. Promoting it is one thing, but pushing it too far will have negative results and may even result in lost ratings and advertising.
An appropriate proportion of actual population (7 - 8 out of a hundred people). So if you had a situation comedy or a drama with 10 recurring cast members, it would be reasonable for 1 of them to be gay. Unless of course the show is set in a gay community or something. I don't really care about the number so much as I care about the portrayal..
if they kept it OCCASIONAL it is alright and unique, but they have become very gratutuitous with it, they have become nothing more than "token" characters, and sorry, not everyone wants to watch gays all the time!
It WAS funny, like when they did it in "SOAP', and "In Living Color", but they went overkill with it. I think that point arrived when they decided to make Willow on "Buffy" a lesbian. They very non-discreetly showed them making out all the time, and that was just not necessary..i think most intelligent viewers can fill in the blanks!
if every one was gay their will b no more babies and another thing to b a 33rd degree mason u must suck a dick and drink the cum whether its true or not what does it tell u??
You are either gay or you are not, TV will not make you gay. We have technology that can knock up lesbians anyway, we will be fine. If anything, we have too many people.
is the media and suroundings brother look the creator DID NOT create us to b opposite gender it goes against laws of nature that were set place long before them gay ass greeks came about...read up about the myth of aquarius
I am not against equal rights for people, but I still get to decide what to watch.
Count me OUT!

I wonder if Barney Frank was in one and I wonder what he wore.
But then again, TV is not real life . . .
