    Very Spartan. I like it.

It kind of fits my whole philosophy on company meetings...

"Anything that can be said in 60 minutes can probably be said in 30. Anything that can be said in 30 can probably be said in 15." We add so much fluffy filler that we lose track of the point. If someone can sell me in a 140 word tweet, then this person is destined for management.

No, that Shakespeare quote has been taken out of context.

I might not hire someone based on 140 characters on Twitter.

The only way I would hire someone from an online application is if I was forced to based on company policy. I don't think you can get an accurate judge of character from any sort of online outlet. I'd much rather hire someone who filled out the application by hand and turned it in to me in person. There's so much more you can learn from someone that way. Any schmuck can fill out an online app but someone who really wants a job will not only take the time to neatly fill out the paper app, they will also wait around when turning it in to talk to a hiring manager and make periodic checks on their application progress/candidacy.

No, but I may fire someone for it.
