He refers to it as a "bump in the road" solely because that pesky little planned attack distracted from his campaigning for a nano second, and because he knew his little lemmings would forget all about it in about two seconds flat.

The POTUS REFUSES to use the term "war on terror" because he empathizes with the nations that produce these mass murderers. He sympathizes with Islamo fascists, Palestinians and anarchists. He sees his own country as "inherently flawed" and needing to be "rebuilt from the ground up".

It's called war hazel. It's not going to end no matter what comments are made or who is president. When you have religious fanatics who think killing is the right thing to do you'll never change that mindset no matter who is president or what that person does. The Japanese taking control of the Philippines from the americans was a bump in the road for MacArthur but he overcame it and drove the Japanese out of the Philippines but before he did he regrouped, thought up a plan and then when the time was right executed that plan and won.

According to many sources overseas, the administration was made aware of a "probable attack in Lybia and Egypt on 09/11", 48 hours prior. They did NOTHING. No warning, no lock down, nothing. Seems Obama interprets all threats from the middle east as "noise".

But you hold Obama responsible for things you don't hold other presidents responsible for. Look at 9/11/2001 look at Pearl Harbor those were disasters of a much higher degree. Look at Lebanon when over 220 marines were killed when Reagan was president. These things happen. If man was perfect they wouldn't. If you are to be honest with me and yourself you are making so much more of this situation because you don't like Obama in the first place and no matter what he has done right it'll never be enough for you because you'll only look at the thing or things you feel he has done wrong. Bush had been in office for 8 months when the attack happened, and the intelligence they had (which by the way Clinton had before leaving office) said "the U.S. was being targeted for attack". Not where, not when, and not by who. Exactly what should they have done? Closed down the country and told everyone to stay home?
Obama's administration was warned SPECIFICALLY that the attack in Lybia would take place...the where, the when and the who, yet did nothing. EPIC FAIL!

Hey you blame Obama but Bush had months of advanced notice had he chosen to have the meeting Richard Clarke had requested since April I believe it was but they waited until the beginning of Oct. and the report was titled "Al Queda preparing to attack the US using planes". It doesn't get any more specific then that.

Ummm...yes it does get more specific. Again, Obama knew when, where and who was being targeted. He could have stopped it. He did nothing.

How could Bush have stopped 09/11? Or Clinton, for that matter. Should they have denied anyone of middle eastern decent access to U.S. flights? Shut down all air traffic into and within the U.S.? For how long?

Why didn't Reagan stop the attacks in Lebonan? They had over 230 marines there and 230 died. Stop the blame game. This is what has happened ever since on country put an consolute or embassy in another country where things are unstable.. It'll happen again no matter who is president. Terrorists are plotting all the time. Who knows maybe one or more are plotting something for your area or mine in the future.
