ABC News??? Isn't that an oxymoron?

If this is really a question from ABC News, you people should be ashamed of yourselves. Your organization is the weakest of all news outlets, by far. Really pathetic. You should try hiring a few journalists, or at least a few people who believe that journalism is not a form of entertainment. You sicken me.

I have moderate political points of view. I stay away from huge stores such as Wal-mart, Sam's, Target, etc. not simply because of opposing political opinions, but because they run smaller local businesses out of business. Wal-Mart just happens to be supportive of the Liberals in office. Which is freaking creepy. Not to mention, their cashiers tried ripping me off on a couple occasions. Thumbs down.

Hell no, as long as they have what I want at fair prices I don't care who runs the company. Unless it was the KKK and their uniform was their hood (both managers and employees) even then i'd be tempted. lol

This is really a question about degrees. I do pay attention to which companies give domestic partner benefits and which companies contribute to which campaigns and politicians and it does play a role in my shopping decisions (to a degree, depending on the issue).

I only had the 2 choices .. but I try to only shop in union stores .. but ... if there's a vast difference in price I will shop @ the non-union. As for political affiliation. I don't really delve into that too much.

There is one comany that's a large chain ... and I have a family member that had advised me that they do something that I don't appreciate. With that, I try not to shop there. But again. I have to think of economy.

Now, if they were mass polluting, or abusing their workers, then yes. But, just bcause a CEO is Liberal or Conservatve doesn't mean I won't vote for them.

I don't inquire about the political view of the CEO of a company I do business with. That doesn't mean that I would do business if I knew that their philosophy did not align with my values.

This answer doesn't quite sum up my thoughts; I wish there were a "none of the above" option.

While I would love to give my money only to companies whose philosophies and actions I think are ethical and fair, it's virtually impossible. I suppose if I were a reactionary, pro-corporation, anti-social responsibility, environment-hating person, it'd be a lot easier.

We're free to think, do, and say what we want to a point. Why should I expect everyone to agree with me in everything. If that was the case then I'd be starving and living on the streets.

No- everyone is entitled to their own view- BUT IF that store tries to force that opinion on me then I would! As long as the store owner does not allow the CEO to push his view thru the store itself!

Okay, politics should hold there own in politics no where else. I get gasoline everywhere even though 95% of the gas stations where I live are owned by middle eastern individuals. Who gives a care who owns the place? If it has what your looking for at a good price then what the hell.

There is more to a store than just the CEO. If the product or its proceeds are to support a view I do not agree with then I would boycott. However it if is just the CEO nah I will still shop there.

I think its 100% silly and non sense. UNLESS the product it self is being used to go against something I would not care for, but then again I would not be buying in the first place. Example, bibles you would never see my buy a bible....so I have no need to Boycott it.

And that includes Hollywood douche bag elitists as well.

I will never again purchase any GE product in my lifetime. CEO Jeffry Immelt hates America, and cares nothing about doing business with a country (Iran) who has been killing our brave men and women in uniform for years. People need to boycott GE and dump their now almost worthless stock.

Hyundai is another Iran regime loving company on my shit list.

I will base a store on how the store is not the person running it, who I have never seen and probably never will. Why would his opinions matter to me?

No, only if it resulted in poor working conditions. However, as this obviously relates to the Whole Foods CEO... he provides a hell of a lot more than most employers do when it comes to health care, esp. when it comes to industries related to retail and food.

Of course not, but I would not support someone who expressed his views violently or was a risk to society!
