I'm no fan of pornography, it tends to belittle and dehumanise people, and makes sex much more commonplace and gets people to treat it casually. Banning it, however, is rather draconian. People should be encouraged to avoid it, and be encouraged to treat sex more seriously, but banning pornography is hardly going to help society.

No, but I would ABSOLUTELY make sure that it is kept out of public view, in an appropriate venue, respectful of adults who do not want to be subjected to it or to children who are the responsibility of their parents, who have the right to decide what their children view.

Wide distribution and easy access may be problematic, but rarely does any good come out of banning things, especially 'crimes' when the only 'victims' are willing participants.

If you don't like it, you don't have to watch it. I find it quite easy to avoid. It's not hurting anyone as long as all participants are willing adults (any other circumstances where they aren't are already illegal). I don't agree with laws that ban victimless things on the basis of someone else's subjective morality.

Because once you start banning anything, you'll wind up with someone wanting to ban everything else.

If you remove everything that's offensive to someone, you'll be left with nothing. Which is offensive to some of us.

I dont see anything wrong with it...as long as they are of age, and consented to it! its peoples choice to watch it or not, and if you think it demeans women they also choose to be part of it, plus the people who make porn a big percentage are women(like the ones who own the businesses)......in the end its what the people want and one way or another they will get what they want. just like drugs....

Well I dont think mental disorders but rape and abusive relationship with those around them yes.. Of course not everyone will but those who will may cause damage to those like the rape victim.. Dont you think the rapist watched "forceful" sex at some point. That video could have been the trigger to his actions..

I believe in letting people have their fun. If that's really what THEY want to do in THEIR spare time then I think that's fair enough. I understand there are people who don't like porn, which of course is fair enough, porn isn't everyone's cup of tea, but to ban it just because they don't like it is ridiculous.
