Friend --

This isn't hyperbole or exaggeration:

If we don't win this election, it will be because we didn't close the spending gap when we could.

Because right now we're seeing that voters have a choice between two very different men.

And the only way someone like Mitt Romney -- who's asking Americans to put him in charge of their taxes while refusing to come clean about his own, who wants to repeal Obamacare, end Medicare as we know it and give more tax breaks to billionaires who don't need them -- defeats someone like Barack Obama, is if the other side spends us into oblivion.

Tomorrow is the most urgent fundraising deadline of this campaign so far. Will you make a donation of $3 or more today to make sure we can keep this close over the last 100 days?

It's already starting on TVs and radios in swing states, and it's not going to stop.

In the last two weeks of this month, Romney and his allies had an almost 2:1 spending advantage in Florida, Iowa, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Virginia -- and that could be the election right there.

We've got more than 2.4 million grassroots donors building this the right way.

But we're running out of time to close the money gap when it really matters.

Please donate $3 today, and help make sure our message can get through to as many voters as Mitt Romney's does:

https://donate.barackobama.com/July-Deadline

Barack and I honestly wish we could thank everyone who contributes to this campaign personally. You're our second family, you know.

Thanks,

Joe

The spending gap that they refer to was generated by his stimulus and largely his lack of knowledge to get on the road to recovery. I feel his pain and he is the pain.

Good. I think Romney is keeping his powder dry until the convention and then will try to get a snowball effect out of the free publicity of the convention and follow that up with advertising. In the meantime Obama is desparately spending money to try and paint Romney before the convention. It's not working.

I think hat what irks the Obama campaign is that they have talked about the 1 billion dollar campaign. The problem is that they didn't expect it to be Romney that gets that much.

There's a reason the super rich and corporations support Romney and not Obama. To compete in the money race he'll need to recreate his record breaking grassroots fundraising from the previous campaign, and the grassroots tend to be fickle.

The grassroots are fickle alright. They're downright pissed off at Obama. Obama better continue to focus on fleecing the enormously wealthy Hollywood and Wall Street crowd because 3 buck Chuck isn't all that excited about Hope and Change anymore.

THIS is a blatant act of Desparation as is the desparate call for Bill Clinton to SAVE the Obama re-election effort..

But DO NOT falter in your resolve.. Obama CAN win this November and we must INCREASE our efforts to oust him as never before..

Even a DYING snake can still bite..

Bill Clinton has been saying many nice things about Romney and the Republicans. Then he walks some back. The point is he said them and deep down inside he believes what he said the first time out.

Yes and THAT is why the so called experts are calling this move dangerous gamble for Obama..

THEY don't LIKE each other.. Bill and Hillary had visions of a "Kennedy" like Political Dynasty and Obama put and end to all that and he wasn't very civil to Hillary when he did it either... Trust me.. Obama would have done anything to avoid having to do this..

THIS could backfire on Obama but then again,, THAT'S why it's an act of DESPARATION..

THE we need them to make certain that whoever takes over FROM the Democrats doesn't turn out to act just LIKE Democrats like they did the LAST time..

( Although I DO think that with all the disasters,, 9/11,, Katrine,, etc,, during the Bush Years a LOT of that spending was called for..)

Who is he kidding? This is the same crap they have been spewing for the last 10 years. Word for word. He rails against tax breaks for the wealthy while Obama HIMSELF extended them. He rails against ending medicare while raiding 500 billion from it to spend on Obamacare. He rails against losing Obamacare as if its already been implimented and all those unisured are magically now covered. Its all fantasy, its all false, and Obama is going to lose.

    You KNOW what gets me??

Let's say Romney gets IN there and the Republicans take back the Senate and keep the House and THEN let's say that Romney tosses Obama's policies and institutes his own and immediately things begin to improve..

YOU know as well as I do that these left wing clowns are going to say that whatever improvements there might be came about BECAUSE of Obama and that those improvements are PROOF that all we needed to do was give Obama the time he needed..

And the MEDIA will BACK them UP...
