One expert shot to the face would have taken this evil S.O.B. out!

Sorry, but reality doesn't support your ideology.
The Colorado theater slaughter, was simply another "Gun-Free Zone Massacre".

Colorado is a carry state but the theater posted signs requiring all patrons to be disarmed.

In my mind that makes them partly responsible for the carnage.

People should sue the theater and that nonsense will stop.

"It would be interesting to know how many walked out of that theater carrying guns."
The Theater and Aurora were a Gun free zone , Honest citizens were required to be good victims.

There is no place where everyone is polite more than a gun show. Everyone has easy access to firearms. "Excuse me." and "I beg your pardon." is common as people walk the aisles. The last thing you want to do is offend someone that has easy access to firearms. The last thing they want to do is offend you.

Ain't that the truth. But most people who accept the legal responsibility of carrying a gun are already tollerant and polite toward others.

People with a history of unjustified violence should not be allowed to carry. Good people should all be given the opportunity to have more power than bad people; we are the ones that should have guns, and lots of them if we so choose. We're good after all. Why should the bad have an advantage to harm us with?

Not everybody, just people who could use it responsibly. You don't want liberals having them, they're crazy!

Fortunately liberals would only want guns for their bodyguards. They would never want their own guns.

There'd be one more corpse in Colorado tonight and no trial necessary if everyone did.

There may be 11 less corpses and dozens who were uninjured. I am assuming Holme's first shot killed someone.

I try to do so also, sometimes I miss a few POV's but not often.

Unless proven wrong with documented evidence to the contrary I stick to my guns on a subject too, as do you.

    Respectfully,

And that's not just my opinion. Several studies confirm it. More guns in the hands of the law abiding translates DIRECTLY into less crime.

And think about it. If you were a crim or a nutter, where would you rather ply your trade? New York or Georgia?

This isn't a tough one, guys.

But only after one defined "everyone." I don't think that someone that has not reached the age of majority, has otherwise been emancipated, or a convicted felon, should have the opportunity to do so. I would have included folk that are somewhat unbalanced, but who would make that determinatiuon. But other than those restrictions, carry and be free...

Putting guns in the pockets of 3 year-olds wouldn't make much sense, would it? Most gun control freaks have a poor handle on Reality, but this really takes the cake.

Really? That's a bit petty, don't you think? I'd expect something like that from a school-aged boy.
