Would Republicans be doing better politically if there were not so many "strange subsets" in the party?

CLIFF YARBROUGH 2012/08/03 03:08:25
Republicans should be the party of smart. The only issue in this race is the economy. Yet, we have turned it into a referendum on women's rights, race issues, religion (the constitution indicates separation of church and state). We have all but nominated a man known to destroy thriving corporations and firing hard working people for personal wealth, when the goal of this election is jobs, jobs, jobs. We as a party and country need to rally together and create jobs.

I am a conservative Republican, but I cannot agree more. The "conservative" Supreme court has legislated that corporations are people, and now they are able to control the flow of ideas with massive amounts of money.

We're letting our opponents call the tune-- responding to the 'war on women' and charges of 'racism' and all the crap they're fabricating to throw at us. We should stick with the economy and ending the wars, and let all the nonsense roll right off our backs.

The only reason the Dem's are casting about this frantically is because they've so obviously failed at the only real issue of importance.

The American economy is getting better slowly. However, compared to the European economy as a whole, we are doing better. Our unemployment rate is more than 2 per cent lower. If the Republican )House would negotiate as historically the various branches have, I wonder where we would be.

Not getting better at all... we're digging ourselves in deeper and deeper. They're punishing people for saving money, and subsidizing the risk-takers and flooding our country with huddled masses. Our actual unemployment level is about double what they're reporting. The inflation figures are a lie.

    Democrat TRILLIONS.
