The President's "cause" is not to remain in power; his cause is to make the lives of every American better, to keep this nation safe, to work with our allies to make the world a safer place, and most importantly to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. He has done so quite well for three years, and will no doubt continue to pursue this "cause" for the next five years.
How ironic that you would attack peaceful protesters exercising their constitutional right to peaceably assemble and petition the government for redress of grievances as "violent thugs".
Would Obama give "the order" to attack Americans on American soil if it were to further his cause?

What do you think, would Obama order the military, TSA, or any other group to attack American citizens to further his cause to remain in power? Not that they would follow that order, although I fear many would just so they wouldn't be imprisoned for not following orders.
With the new round of OWS starting off with nothing but violence, I can see Americans wanting to put a stop to it but Obama & Pelosi "thank God for these people", this is where the attack on Americans could come into play.
