Back street alleys are where abortions were done before they legalized them, now they want to send it back to the alley. Does that make any sense

    true...
    prohibitions do not work-

but perhaps killing humans should be done...
    in dark back alleys-

    rather than proudly and defiantly...
    in plain sight-

perhaps the risk should be there...
why should killing a human be easy...
    risk free???

it happened before, but in the same token . if women ever decided to as we call it "man up" and face the challenges ahead . they would be surprised at how good they can be. but in the same token, men do not take care of their children as they should. we may not make the kids, but we are the designated teachers of children. what are we to teach them it we will not "man up" ourselves???

All of the above, except for the "Making abortion illegal would not start an illegal back alley abortion industry"

Maybe that is why the Religious Reichtie folks want to make it illegal again because then anyone and everyone who wants or needs to make a buck can do it even though they don't have the medical background to do it....

Maybe that is the purpose of making it illegal again.....Turn it into a under ground corporation where by there are no rules....

I think if a woman wants an abortion then she's gonna go out and get one. If she can't do it legally then she will go to "other" means to get the job done.

I do not believe in abortion at all. I do believe that making it illegal would definitly cause back alley butcher shops to pop up left and right. Then all we will have is a bunch of Two-Fers.I don't wan't that.I wish that abortion was non existant, meaning that there be no need or desire to get one.But that is just not the way it is.I wish too that the people who want to make it illegal had the forsight to see that maybe just maybe there is a woman in their lives that they love very much.Who may have had an abortion, and may be dead now if not for it being legal and safe.

It shouldn't be completely illegal. It should be allowed in life threatening cases and cases of rape. But why should a woman be able to murder because they were irresponsible, or because they just don't want a kid.

No, your definition is false. The definition of murder is "The unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another." Seeing as abortion is not unlawful, then it is not murder, please stop using words if you refuse to use the ACTUAL definition of said words.

I did not say that was the definition of the word. I asked if you had a word to match my definition. Anyway: it might be legal, but it IS the premeditated killing of another human being by another.
  • William... Jayfeather 2012/05/05 21:13:03
    William Day
That makes it not murder, because it is legal. I would argue that it is human, but not yet a being; however that is an argument for another time unless you would like to get into it now.
  • Jayfeather William... 2012/05/06 04:21:12
    Jayfeather
No you're right. It's not a being yet. But it IS human and that, my friend, is the fundamental issue if you ask me. It has our DNA, and it is alive. That's enough ground to preserve it's life.

I politely disagree. Is see ours is an disagreement on perspective. I just don't see it the same way as you do because that is not enough for me.
