World Quickly Accepted Untruth about Libyan Film Riots: Did Media Responsibly Cover Muslim Outrage?

The media is waving Obie's red herring for him.

I have seen no "responsible" journalism in nearly 20 years.

All I know is that I did not see much, if any, of this on TV.

Who really cares about the film? It's not about the film, but Muslims, not terrorist, not radicals, but Muslims. The ones in the street burning flags at 4:00 AM. The everyday average Muslim.

This uprising against America has nothing to do with that rediculous video and they dropped the ball again. True journalism is dead in America.

When your horse has faltered in the gate, you got to turn the "stumble" in to a "side step" instead.....
Anyone with half a brain knows it was planned, the friggin Libyan's themselves have stated it over and over. Disgusting (if predictable) coverage by his posse all aimed at protecting his reelection.
Hopefully, enough lucid people wake up to see this for what it is and his other foreign relations travesties.

I hardly believe the media is a vehicle of truth but they were not Jewish bashing .
The Rabbi is overly sensitive. The Middle East has been under the yoke of dictatorships for thousands of years. They have no concept of freedom of speech. They have never experienced anything even remotely similar. If one of them made even a slight remark about the king or queen or emperor, his tongue would be cut out. They are accustomed to extreme violence , and this is what we see now. It's the only way they know to retaliate when they feel they have been wronged.

I imagine they will stay in a state of continual rage because with today's technology, any fifth grader can dream up a new video to insult a group of people half way around the world.

What untruth(s) is that, Fef?

We used to have something called "investigative reporting" now we just have reporters who tell us what the government/company/celebrity's media spokesperson said.

Fools accept the untruth, the rest of us know what the real truth is, even the Libyan President knows the truth and admits it. We're not as stupid as Washington looks.

It's the only kind any more.

It Is Time We Show Our Teeth: I still do not believe that a YouTube "movie" caused all of the current rioting in the middle east or the murdering of four Americans. --However, I do believe that some people are seizing the opportunity to use the uprising to make the claim that the rioters are upset over anti-Islam speech in America, with their goal being to silence such speech.

But no matter what, Americans are free to speak against anything or anyone that we so desire to speak against. And no matter what, we must keep that freedom. If we lose it, we do lose America.

And I would like to know where our government's voice is in this. Our government should be speaking up and defending America's freedoms. Our government should be saying that it would be a cold day in hell before America would ever take away American's freedom of speech for any reason, much less because of gangs in the middle east threats. We have bombs that can wipe them off the map. It is time we show our teeth.

2- trouble only in certain places and not in the whole world

3- trouble does not come just like that but have its reason ..
