Police say 22-year-old Jamille Marshall tossed a yellow pit bull mix puppy from the balcony of her third floor apartment because she “didn’t want it.”

This monster should be thrown from the 500th floor of a building and see how she feels about it. I just can't tolerate people who abuse animals. This disgusting creature could do anything if she could do that. It is well known that people who abuse animals will also go on to abuse other people as well. She is one sick psychopath and should be locked up forever. Society is not safe as long as she has any kind of freedom.

What a woman, I'm glad she gets what she gets, should've been charged 2 counts of animal cruelty for that. Throwing it off a balcony, and causing it severe injuries. I don't necessarily like pit bulls, but I wouldn't do anything like that.

This seems to be depravity of the worst kind. What the article did not say was why they had the dog on the third floor of that building if they didn't want it. This woman needs observation as she could be capable of anything and she sure better never have children. This is one sick person much like serial killers start out.

Some people just don't honestly understand that animals can experience all the same emotions that we can, they don't comprehend that that puppy felt terrified as it was being tossed of the balcony and felt the full impact of the pain as it hit the ground.

I can't say for sure rather she's a sociopath, or just ignorant. Sociopaths kill animals (Usually knowing that they feel) because they want to or because they're curious, while people who are just ignorant do stupid stuff while not understanding what they are doing.

Animal cruelty is a felony in many states now but it sure doesn't stop these as^holes from doing these terrible things.

Wonder how she would feel if someone dropped her from an abnormal height for a human to withstand, as she falls, her heart races, knots in her stomach, knowing she will possible meet her demise or wind up at least broken up as she's picked off the ground painfully and enroute to a hospital.

I have no patience or compassion for people who abuse animals or children. None.

She will no longer laugh when she learns that animal abuse is a felony in Illinois.

This act seems like a good indicator of possible sociopathy. Who cares if it's an animal? Animals experience pain the same way that humans do. I hope that this woman does not have children!
