Woman Scams $2.1 Million With Turbo Tax: Anomaly or Systematic Problem?

Krystle Marie Reyes almost pulled off one of the biggest fraud cases in Oregon state history. The 25-year-old woman received a massive tax return approved by filing with Turbo Tax by falsely claiming a $3 million income. Even after officials examined the return, she manage to eek out a $2.1 million return, and burned through more than $150,000 before she was caught.

According to Oregon Live, her downfall came when she reported her spending prepaid debit card missing. The report launched an investigation that landed Reyes behind bars. Rep. Vicki Berger responded to the arrest, saying, "They've got some explaining to do to restore the confidence of Oregonians. Is this is an anomaly? If so, let's make sure it never happens again. Or do we have a systematic problem in the way the Department of Revenue treats this and other transactions?"

the 16th amendment is a scam, see Tom Cryer's website truthattack.org The IRS has no legal authority to tax americans on compensation for their labor, and Tom Cryer won in court against the IRS. While others have not, this nation is better off rid of the IRS and the Federal Reserve banking system, given the fact that the US dollar under the control of the federal reserve has been almost totally devalued. The loss of the AAA credit rating and the fact that gas is over $4, gold over $1500, and the recent move by China and Japan to stop trading in USD is an indication the fed has abjectly failed to regulate the currency, and congress is a lame and retarded sack of worthless puppets, because it's their job to manage the currency of the nation.
All that aside, Turbo Tax is another scam. I bought the software, did my taxes as accurately as possible, and came out owing money. I went to a professional tax preparer in the same year, and got money back.
Given the fact that the IRS never finds errors in their favor, Turbo Tax might as well have been designed by the IRS to increase revenue.

And to be exact, the problem is the IRS is not a government agency and there is no document that says we have to pay income tax!!!!

We The People could take back our country overnight with a nationwide tax revolt!!! But you sheeple have been dumbed down and programmed to live in fear and denial, so you won't. You prefer slavery!!!

The systematic problem is the fact that people think it's ok to scam organizations or other people for that matter.

Yesterday I went to the movies, paid for it with a $50 bill and the kid gave me back $50 in change. I could have walked away with "free" tickets, but I wasn't raised that way. Did the kid make a mistake? Sure. Should I profit from it? Granted, it was only ten bucks, but in my opinion, ten bucks or ten million bucks... if it's not my money, that's not right. Period.

4 billion to dead people, 10 billion to illegal aliens and the White House full of tax frauds who want a Buffett rule while the man owes 1 billion to the irs.
Sounds systematic to me. I know a few IRS agents, and they all have confirmed it.

I worked at the IRS for a very short time because the pay was too low for my qualifications and student loan debt. I don't enjoy working with idiots either.

AGAIN, you ASSume to know so much but in reality you know nothing about me.

I knew about the inept employees and the surpervisors who waved the flagged returns through, long before it was published.

My links prove you don't know much, no wonder you call yourself a need to know.

They issued her refund on a debit card. This only occurs when the person doesn't have a checking or savings account. How many millionaires wouldn't have a checking or savings account? So the real question is: does the State Worker(?) who issued the refund know the perpetrator or is their malfeasance really the result of a Unionized system that hires and rewards on the basis of race, gender... everything except the proven ability to do a job well?
