A Texas woman fed up with reprobates in society was captured on a Walmart security camera chasing down a group of men who walked out of the store with a case of beer that they hadn't paid for.

Her name? Monique Lawless. Go figure.

The 5-foot-nothing, 125-pound woman followed the men into the parking lot, jumped on their car’s hood and tried to kick the windshield in, while yelling, “You punks, you are not going to get away with this,” the paper reported.

Though Lawless was not able to stop the thieves and suffered two black eyes as a result, police did track the men down eventually.

She told Fox News that if she could do it over, she probably wouldn't have jumped on the car but she still would have made a big scene about it.

This happened in Texas, They should be thanking their stars that she wasn't armed and blew the worthless pieces of trash away.. This country needs more conceal carry permits, The punks would have to worry more about being shot if they didn't know how many people around them were armed. Shot out their tires, blew a hole in the radiator, anything to make their lack of morals cost them more than they got.

I would have said Brave and Bonkers if I could have. She was about 40% Brave and 60% Bonkers. I'm sure the bonkers part was quite temporary and she'll be back to normal after her face heals.

In Texas shooting someone for beer could mean death penalty or life in prison, and I doubt the majority of youngsters really would throw their whole lives away because of a case of beer. Most likely these were young men under the drinking age who wanted beer or then were just short on cash, I highly doubt they were real gangsters who kill anything in their way.

That is too insignificate a crime to risk your own life over. She had NO idea at all what those men were capable of doing. People are scarey and unpredictible. She should have tracked down in-store security or told the Walmart Door greeter if she wanted crime to be stopped but NOT take the risk she took.

Anyone who would risk death to save Walmart ten bucks must be a bit crazy. If you aren't a cop, don't chase shoplifters. You're just opening yourself up to either civil litigation for assault, or the risk of getting stabbed or shot if you actually manage to catch them. I used to work retail and one of the workers up the street decided to chase a shoplifter into an alleyway over a pair of cheap shoes - he ended up getting stabbed to death after he cornered the thief. He lost his life trying to save thirty bucks for a multibillion dollar corporation that never would have cared in the first place.

Obviously the "not your problem" idea doesn't apply if someone is actually in physical danger.

Gusty but stupid also.

You never know who is carrying or what they may do even unarmed. Just never know, plenty of negative possibilities. I'd only take action if it was defending a human being. But if someone were to do something to someone care about person or animal I'd probably do something stupid.

I do know why she did that. Sick of people who steal and have no integrity. Yay for her having some but still all in a a very stupid thing to do.

I'd hate to be the one to tell someone they lost their mother in a situation like this. Good thing she came out of it not badly hurt.

I'm pretty sure $10 dollars worth of beer is worth a life. People can die pulling such stunts, but then again, someone has to show these delinquints who has the upper hand- us, maybe them.

A person can only be chased out of a store for a matter of something like 10 feet of the door (You've probably seen bollards out in front of places like Wal-Mart or Best Buy - That's the limit line) after that, you can be arrested for assault on the thief. I know - screwed up law.

It is beer, risking your life for beer takers is not good . I am sure her love ones would miss her more than Wal-Mart would miss their beer. Write down the plate, take a picture of the car. Don't risk your life for beer .
