    · This kind of horror is what comes with "Diversity." Some cultures are just too dissimilar.

If we are going to be able to avoid shocks like this in the news we need to sit down and think deeply about what our founding fathers meant by "To ourselves and to our posterity."

As one poster here said, "I don't want to live on this planet anymore." Well I don't want to live in this kind of "diversity" anymore.

This tears at my heart. That poor little baby. How could anybody mistreat her like that.
I have a little yorkie about 5 pounds. They are itty bitty dogs. Most breeders don't want them in families with small children because they can be easily injured.
Why would someone do this? This behavior is wrong for any dog, but is much more cruel with this little one.
I hope her owner goes to jail and that the Yorkie gets a good home.

    This is indeed cruel.
I think that it was justified to arrest this woman.

People who treat animals that way often abuse other people too. Both are wrong. I hope this woman doesn't work with patients or children.

There's way to many dog abuse stories in the news. This one, The couple that threw a puppy out of a Moving vehicle. And yesterday I saw a video of NYPD gunning down a dog because it was freaking out because the owner was having a seizure. If I can impart one Piece of advice. DO NOT CLICK ON TO THAT VIDEO it will scar you for life.

I keep seeing those raw little feet with the nails torn out.
Yorkies are terriers and terriers are tough. But a little guy like this shouldn't have to be.

My yellow lab is a rescue We got him when he was about 5-6 months old. This dog was abused beyond belief. Neglected, Beaten, malnourished, and his former owner would make him stay in the yard, during The hottest days of the summer. In fact it did so much damage that there is a part of his back that was so badly burnt that he'll never grow hair there. To make a Long story even longer, We've had this dog (Riley) For a little over a year, and if you ever met him You wouldn't Know that he went through so much stuff in the first 1/2 year alive.

My little black Toto-looking mutt was also rescued. She was skin and bones and terrified, especially of men. That was in May 2008. We even had to teach her how to play. Run she is the friendliest, happiest little dog you ever saw. What a privilege to bring a ghost back to life!
