Hillary Clinton has commented that she'd be willing to run as Barack Obama's Vice President if it strengthens the party in November 2008. If you were already voting for Obama, does this mean the ticket will be stronger to beat John McCain? Or are you on John McCain's "Straight Talk Express" now?

    Look here.

A lot of people still don't know who Obama really is, or what he wants to do — and so are still not altogether sure that Obama is the proper antidote to George Bush. After more than a year of campaigning, Obama still remains an enigma.

    Race . . . an issue?

Obama promised to be the post-racial candidate who would bring us together. But when asked in March 2004 whether he attended regularly the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ, Obama boasted: "Yep. Every week. Eleven o'clock service."

    Mr. Obama . . . STOP LYING.

church christ obama boasted yep week oclock service obama lying

If Obama picks someone other than Hillary I will not vote and I am a BLACK WOMAN and I have talked to a lot of my friends and they feel the same. We feel that she earned that spot., if she wants it. I will have second thoughts about Obama since all the canidates on his short list are dropping off like flies. I guess I was looking for the DREAM TEAM. I feel that Obama showed disrespect towards Hillary because he stated she was on the short list and all of a sudden we heard nothing but No not Hillary.

when Obama got the nod, i predicted two things: that the enthused youth vote that got him there would quick evaporate, and that consequently, we were numerically F***ed with the sure to vote populations of seniors and white working class. We are truly effed without Hillary or a similar jaguar. There are NONE i see in the Dem field.

This poll is improperly presented. There should be an option presenting Obama as our choice, and accepting Hillary if that in the end is the VP choice. Personally I think Hillary and Bill are still on ego trips, and have forsaken their party and national interest for their own ambitions. Barack Obama is a gift, and will make one of the greatest Presidents we have ever known.

Boy, there are a bunch of people in here that need to read more than their inbox. For one, the email about Barack Obama raising taxes was laid to rest by FactCheck.org. Number two - John Hansen was the President of the Continental Congress for 1 year and was not black. He was never the "President of the United States".
As for Socialism - give it up. For one McCain has never had a non-government job in his life. Every paycheck he has ever received has come from the Government. He has never had to pay a single medical bill or pay for a single prescription drug in his life. The Government has taken care of his whole family for what, 3 generations? Not one job he has ever held has been subject to the negative effects on wages and benefits caused by any form of immigration. In short he don't know jack about what the average American Family is going through right now.

For our oil problem -- Obama proposes using solutions that exist right now - we can start TODAY! McCain's solution is will provide about 3 cents a gallon help --- in 7 to 8 years from now. Until then -- he has no solution.
Jobs? McCain says the jobs that are gone won't be coming back. Obama will bring back lost jobs in the auto industry and new jobs in the bio-fuel sector and clean energy sector.

    There is a multitude ...

There is a multitude of differences. If you REALLY think this nation is on the right course you definitely should vote for McCain. If you think we need to start cleaning up the mess we call our Government -- you have a good choice in Obama.

He wasn't my first choice, or my second -- but he is the only GOOD choice we have left. McCain -- come on, half the time he doesn't understand the question and the other half the time he can't answer it.

Obama bashed Sen Clinton and called her and her husband racists. His vote for FISA shows a disregard for human and civil rights that is unacceptable. It isn't about clinton, it is about Sen Obama's betrayal of Americans. I have voted Democratic for decades, but this may be the first time i won't.

I supported Hillary because she is strong and cares about America. Obama needs a sword to nip the heels of the McCain campaign 'lies". So far the response has been a pencil thrust. The campaign is falling into the Kerry mistake, letting them snatch the ball in gallop into the end zone. Hillary can intercept the pass. Get with it America, she will not over-shadow Obama, only strengthen him.

Hillary should be at the top of the Ticket. But, if Obama is smart he will choose her or risk losing the general election due to ticked off women that will not vote for him otherwise. By this I mean the "Write In Hillary" movement, could be quashed by naming her as his running mate.

Well, Absolutely I would vote for Obama if I didn't know anything of the words of Thomas Jefferson and James Madison... I would vote for Obama if I wanted to see this great country go the way of sociallist leaning Europe... I would vote for Obama if I didn't want to acccept that he is a big Big government liberal who is not interested in my children inhereting that same liberty and freedom that our fore fathers intended. Barack Obama, with the absolute most liberal record, in his short (153 days) stint, in the senate, has clearly demonstrated, through his words and his associations, his negative view of the United States.
