A report by Inspector General Horowitz found the ATF and U S Attorney's Office in Arizona shared equal responsibility for the gun-walking programs. It also said senior leaders did little immediately after the death of the Border Security Officer to inquire about Operation Fast and Furious. It faulted ATF headquarters for insufficient oversight of the program. And it cited the inappropriate effort to encourage dealers to sell firearms in transactions they knew were unlawful for weapons they did not intend to seize.
Contrary to the denials of the Attorney General and his political defenders in Congress, the investigation found that information in wiretap applications approved by senior Justice Department officials in Washington did contain red flags showing reckless tactics and faults Attorney General Eric Holder's inner circle for their conduct.
The Terry family wants the answer for the initial failure and for the cover-up!
Issa told Fox News that there is "no question" that there needs to be "real reform" in the Justice Department and called on Obama to provide accountability for those who failed to do their jobs.

Tee Quake 2012/09/20 05:42:46YES+8Attorney General Eric Holder, the consummate racist, needs to go. That has been the case ever since one DOJ attorney quit, back in 2009, when Holder ordered the attorney to dismiss the government's surefire, "polling place intimidation of voters" case, against the New Black Panther Party, purely for racist reasons. Likewise, Holder's ridiculous antics around the tragic Trayvon Martin case, also rise to a level which should cost Holder his job. Personally, I think he ought to be disbarred, as well. The man is a disgrace. The fact that Obama hasn't terminated him yet is either because Obama is as guilty as Holder, or Obama's biding his time, waiting to fire Holder when it will be MOST politically advantageous for Obama to fire Holder. Of course, there is also the outside chance that Holder knows where all the skeletons of Obama's administration are buried, and Obama is too intimidated to fire Holder.

Fast and Furious was another ploy to make up crimes in order to ramp up enforcement/restrictions. Related, Congress needs to rethink some things that they call crimes.
The report released today about fast and furious proves Holder knew nothing about it until it was too late for him to do anything. It was operated by bush2 holdovers. The ex head of the JD has stepped down. It turns out the whole operation was run out of Phoenix, Az. Even Faux news says Holder was not responsible.
The whole thing is overblown. Yes, an ATF agent was killed. But if it hadn't been a fast and furious gun, it would have been another gun. Mexico is awash with guns. Anybody who blames the prez or Holder for this agent's death because of that particular gun is a fool.
