Silicon Valley chip company SiBeam has a wireless replacement for your HD TV. Wireless HD is exactly what flat-planel TV's needed, since most of thin HD TV's are hanged in your wall. Will you get it?

Actually, my answer would be none of the above because I can't see getting a new HD tv when my old one works just fine. Eventually, I'll make the switch but not till my current tv stops working for me, and since I hate to have wires to move when cleaning I'll go wireless.

If the signal can still be sent at a relatively good speed, and quality, it'd be nice to have. The less wires you have to deal with, the less chance of something going wrong. It'll also make set up all that more easier.

Yes, It is a good advancement. If we didn't advance we would still be riding horses.

I'd love to be riding horses. At least on nice days.
But we're not advancing fast enough for me today because I want a new electric car to carry me, my kids and my grandkids and I haven't seen an electric cargo van yet. LOL

An electric car is definitely the way to go. Oil is on the rise again and is supposed to continue rising until years end. We need to get away from it altogether. Horses are an alternative. In a crowded city it would be a crappy alternative.

Actually, for my city it would work because we already have carriage rides in our city and the Amish always manage it. But I sure like the thought of an electric car, solar panel and hydrogen fuel cell. Wouldn't it be nice to just plug the car into the solar panel and never have to buy gas again. No air pollution, less noise pollution on the highway, and no being held up by OPEC, it all sounds good to me. I just wonder what the Middle East would do if they lost our oil order, think they'd realize that we would retaliate against Osama Bin Laden by getting rid of oil imports and blame him for their loss. Bet he'd have nowhere to hide then and he'd finally be turned over, tried and executed. LOL :-)

Cause and effect. I think there is a position for you in the Mitre Corp. By the by, The Mitre Corp. is a non profit quasi governmental organization that does most of the strategic analysis for the CIA.

LOL It's very funny that you say that because right after 9/11 I told my co-workers that I wasn't going to open any mail unless I know who it's from. When they asked me why I told them because if the terrorists wanted to attack again, all they would have to do is send a biological weapon through the mail in the form of junk mail. My fears were realized when Anthrax was sent to congressmen. We were lucky because it could have been a lot worse. I also had a feeling that Bush was wrong about WMD in Iraq and said so as soon as I heard his speech. All you have to do is read the bible to know that the Middle East has been at war for thousands of years and that Saddam might be acting suspiciously because he didn't want his neighbors to think he was unarmed. I knew the war in Iraq would cause economic problems and now everything I said years ago has come to pass or been validated in some way. :-)

Please Oracle, tell me the future so that I can react to it correctly. How do you see us financially, politically, and spiritually.

I'm not saying I'm an oracle, I only saw things which should have been foreseen because it was all common sense, although I will give a reading just for fun at the end of this reply.

You can't go to war in another country without also killing or wounding innocent people along with the guilty. From the survivors, especially in the Middle East, you would create a whole generation of vengeful people who will hate us forever. I always did think Saddam was acting suspiciously with the U.N. delegates sent to oversee his disarmament for the reasons I stated above. We know war is expensive and raises the deficit which drives down the value of the dollar as it continues to rise. It was foreseeable that to wage a war in the Middle East oil prices would increase and with an increase in gasoline you cause average Americans living paycheck to paycheck to make hard decisions about what products they will purchase; thereby, decreasing their buying power and naturally hurting manufacturing and merchandising businesses. When gas prices rise the cost of transporting goods also rise which pushes the price of everything up and again puts a burden on consumers. When gas prices rise the cost of transporting goods also rise which pushes the price of everything up and again puts a burden on consumers. All of this plus the mistakes the banking industry made during the last few years hurt the housing markets. People who may have been able to, just, afford their mortgages before the war were devastated with the changes of war. Businesses start taking losses and lower production of certain goods following the whim of the consumer naturally causes layoffs, bankruptcy and closings. It's all common sense and I have to say I hold our government accountable because along with all of the above there are the deaths of over 4000 soldiers, the injuries of over 60,000 soldiers and the deaths of over 400,000 Iraqi's. If you think that each of those Iraqi deaths has one or two angry vengeful family members who would be willing to join Al-Queda then you see another problem for America and the world. These terrorists don't only attack us. Once a vengeful person is initiated into terrorism they attack where they are told. I also know that after the investigation into the Iraq war and the reports which were used by the president to encourage congress to invade Iraq they found reports which refuted the claim of Saddam having WMD but those reports were ignored. I can't say if it was due to the anger or fear following 9/11 but I do know that president Bush wanted Saddam Hussein before 9/11.

LOL Okay here I go. All I can say is I feel good about our future politically. I see the stimulus package making a difference and boosting our economy once again. The help to states will help many who need it and it will allow the banks to restructure so they will be better than before. I am worried about a possible terrorist attack and a possible assassination attempt on the president but am confident the Secret Service will keep him protected.

Financially, I see us getting back on top and would advise you to invest in companies which provide alternative energy sources, especially, residential solar panel installers. There are going to be some advances with solar panels being used with hydrogen fuel cells. Hydrogen fuel cells are also going to be improved. Wind turbines are going to become works of art which also provide energy.

Spiritually there are many who are lost without a belief in a higher power or who don't see the power within themselves. Don't depend on others for your spirituality but follow your own heart and worship the way you will as long as you harm none. Whatever you do though, do be thankful and thoughtful. If you don't believe in a higher power then at least meditate and find your center for a better sense of peace and calm in a crazy world.

Take care of what you've been given and hold on in 2012 because things are going to get shaky. Stay away from the coasts that year. I can guarantee that there will be more natural disasters. LOL

This is said as a source of entertainment so enjoy but do think of making the investments I've mentioned because America is going to make changes we need to wean ourselves off of oil. Also, spirituality is an important aspect of our psyche and needs to be nurtured just as we nurture our physical and psychological selves.

Good luck! Hope I've helped but remember that what I've written is again a mix of common sense and hopefulness. I do have a bad feeling about 2012 because I am aware that our sun will be at the center of the galaxy and we don't know what effect this will have on our planet but I'm aware of more and worse natural disasters over the last few years. Where I live we have lost power for a whole week twice now in the last six months and I don't remember being without power that long since the tornado outbreaks in 1972 or 73 (I forget which.) The first power outage happened last September and was the result of hurricane Ike which hit Galvaston, Texas and I live in Kentucky. You should see the trees around here, I can't tell you how many large broken limbs are hanging up in the trees and once again we have piles of tree limbs along the roads ready for pick up. In September there were neighborhoods you couldn't get into because of all the trees which fell. I saw enormous hundred year old trees overturned like toothpicks across the roads and on houses. I really believe there is more to come and we're going to be experiencing disasters like this for the next three years and then something even bigger may be in store for us. I don't mean to be a soothsayer for gloom and doom but it is always better to be prepared. Being prepared never hurt anyone. LOL. :-)
