This is not for us to decide. He will be judged by a jury of his peers as our judicial system demands. We'll know more when the jury releases their verdict. Until then this is all subjective and gullible to bias.

Zimmerman's fb account was specifically set up to collect donations for his LEGAL FEES, living expenses and said those exact words on the website.
NOWHERE did it mention monies for posting bail, which has nothing to do with LEGAL FEES, paying court costs or living expenses.

Had he used those funds for bond/bail, he could have been charged with collecting funds under false pretense.

The state may bring new charges against him because of this financial omission. It makes him look like a liar and the prosecution should try to use it if it's allowed by the court.

Up to the day this news broke, I thought for sure it was an open and shut case of self-defense. I'm not so sure anymore. Any prospective jurors are going to be wondering what else he is lying about.

Contributions to his defense fund had just begun coming in, and he might have considered them not to be 'his assets' but $ destined for his attorneys. I don't see this as changing or impacting the relevant facts of the case, but will quickly add to media spin.
