Naturally, that's what you believe. If Paul wins the nomination, he gets my vote. If Romney wins, he gets my vote.

One problem with that. Unless Paul gets the nomination, he won't be on any ballot. In that event, there will be a huge movement to the Libertarians and the RINO Party will disappear. Check out Gary Johnson:

Dumney isn't any better. Notice that his home state where he served as governor isn't even supporting him. Where do you think the blueprint for obarry care came from? Dumney supports the tsa / homeland security / viper teams, spy drones, NDAA, spending our way to property, ect...... He is the white obarry. I got this information from dumney's own mouth during the debates. The only real choice is to hope Paul wins the nomination and he does not then vote for Gary Johnson who is also a strong constitutionalist.

Actually, he is better, regardless of his home state support. You need to be realistic, Paul isn't in the running and Romney would be better than what we have now.

His home state could be a few actually. He has residences in a couple, was governor of Mass and born in Michigan. That Mass doesn't back him is utterly irrelevant as Mass would back an elephant seal rather than a Republican for president.

Voting for Obama would increase his vote count by 1. Not voting for Obama does not increase Obama's vote count by 1.

Since writing in Paul does not increase Obama's vote count by 1, it is not voting for Obama.

That would be incorrect. A vote for Obama is a vote for Obama. If Paul runs as a third party candidate, he will take zero votes away from Obama. How many he takes from Romney is a boon to Obama. While it does not increase Obama's vote, it decreases his opponent's vote. Getting rid of Obama should be the priority. I don't buy this malarkey about Obama and Romney being the same.

    "That would be incorrect."
If it was incorrect, then voting for Paul would magically increase Obama's vote count, but it doesnt.

And second there is no such thing as taking votes away from anyone. That assumes Romney is entitled to our votes. He is not, and neither is Obama. You go out there, you earn the votes, and you sink or swim on your own merit. But rather than be a man, it seems political parties always like to point the finger at outside problems rather than focus on fixing their own flaws.

Not to mention, statistically many democrats dissatisfied with Obama were going to vote for Paul to end the wars.
And on top of that every year there are several 3rd party candidates, but I suppose they are only a problem when they have a chance of winning.

"Getting rid of Obama should be the priority."
You give Obama too much credit. He's just a puppet that will do anything his bankster puppet masters want. The priority is to replace puppets with constitutionalists or at the very least real independent people resistant to bribery and corruption. Replacing him with another puppet changes nothing except for the flavor of feces they serve us.

"malarkey about Obama and Romney being the same."

Then you arent paying attention. Just look at Romney's time as governor and you'd see that he was pro-Obamacare and even advocated it at the national level. He signed assault weapons bans and stated he supports all of the gun control laws in Mass. He's funded abortion with tax payer dollars and PP.
Just look at his record rather than accept everything he says as fact. One way Obama won was lying, and the failure of the people to investigate his background or past

The libertarian philosophy is with Paul, and if he gets kicked under the bus by the RINO Party, we'll all move to the Libertarian Party and Gary Johnson. Either of them will be a breath of fresh air.
