Since writing in Paul does not increase Obama's vote count by 1, it is not voting for Obama.
If it was incorrect, then voting for Paul would magically increase Obama's vote count, but it doesnt.
And second there is no such thing as taking votes away from anyone. That assumes Romney is entitled to our votes. He is not, and neither is Obama. You go out there, you earn the votes, and you sink or swim on your own merit. But rather than be a man, it seems political parties always like to point the finger at outside problems rather than focus on fixing their own flaws.
Not to mention, statistically many democrats dissatisfied with Obama were going to vote for Paul to end the wars.
And on top of that every year there are several 3rd party candidates, but I suppose they are only a problem when they have a chance of winning.

Then you arent paying attention. Just look at Romney's time as governor and you'd see that he was pro-Obamacare and even advocated it at the national level. He signed assault weapons bans and stated he supports all of the gun control laws in Mass. He's funded abortion with tax payer dollars and PP.
Just look at his record rather than accept everything he says as fact. One way Obama won was lying, and the failure of the people to investigate his background or past
