First Paul must get nominated. Otherwise we all move to Libertarian Gary Johnson and take the RINO Party down and out. Maybe then somehow America will have a chance. Trouble is that it's so far gone that it'll take much more than a new president.

There are just two problems I have with that approach.
First, Republican overlords dont seem to be much better than democrat overlords.
Second, I dont see the point in preserving the nation if we forfeit our principles, because that's what defined our nation. Without them it is honestly hard to call this place America.

I wont try to change your opinion, but that's simply where I'm coming from.

He was also never going to be where he is... Obama and Romney are spending Millions of dollars a month trying to beat Paul who isn't even trying anymore...lol.... Ron Paul quit campaign spending when he ran out of money (radical notion I know) and is still beating Romney and Obama no matter how much grass they feed the sheep.

He was out of money... He didn't decline debates he stopped touring when his money ran out instead of begging for more money/wedding gifts/presents or taking bank money. Gingrich quit over 3 million in debt. I love how Ron Paul stopped campaigning and is still a major threat to Romney and Obama who continue to spend MILLIONS a month spinning their wheels in the mud.

Gingrich wanted to save this nation form libs like Romney getting the nomination. However, the libs did a good job of smearing Gingrich and keeping the focus off the facts.
Ron Paul has not a single chance and isnt a threat....Come on man

Newt Gingrich bankrupted his campaign covering up his past and had no real time to debate issues with all the damage control and fund hustling going on. Come on man... Newt Gingrich... I spit my cheerios when I heard he had the audacity to even run for potus. Did he forget he IS Newt Gingrich..? We didn't...!

ya the only true leader running. He controlled Clinton. Stopped the lib bills and united the R party. He also made 100s of compromised and worked with the democratic party. Basically all the traits we are in need of for a leader (President). The country needs to unite, no more division.

Those Perry, Bachmann, Pawlenty, Gingrich, Cain delegates do NOTautomatically go to Romney; they have their own voice and their own vote at the convention. We can not elect ANOTHER establishment candidate and sure as hell not Obama. campaign for liberty

Fannie and Freddie were only a small part, deregulation played a bigger part and if I recall he opposed that too.. Neither makes him an economic wizard..

The only deregulation was when Clinton repealled the Glass-Steagall Act to facilitate the CRA/CRI that brought down the housing market and our econonmy with it; then bundle up the bad mortgages and sell them to our friends causing them to meltdown, too. I'd give him a much higher mark than the wizard we have in there now or the three before him. Bush 41, Clinton, and Bush 43 were fiscal socialists.

Their were two pieces of deregulation, in 1999 Gramm-Leach-Bliley and in 2000 the Commodities Modernization Futures Act. Funny you claim Clinton did it for the CRA/CRI reason when Republicans wrote both bills....
