This is an insult. Correct me if I'm wrong but is this not the early signs of a megalomaniacal socialistic regime? Top Opinion

Diana 2012/09/24 01:27:31No, I actually love America. There's only ONE flag that I'll salute, the Amer...

I don't have anything for Holder, my crap filters aren't strong enough. I would like to see them ALL in prison.
If and when that changes, I have the equipment for the job:
It's good that you live in NY, because in other parts of the nation people feel very differently. If you were to to go a ballgame, for instance, and didn't respectfully stand for the national anthem that's played before every game starts, you would come to regret your callousness and disrespect.
Granted, U.S. soldiers have given their lives to defend the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights, but even that has not transpired in several decades. Virtually all U.S. conflicts since World War II have served the interests of the Military Industrial complex and other economic interests.
I do not reside in New York. I live in Athens, Georgia. Regardless, anyone who attempts to force me to worship a piece of cloth better be prepared for the repercussions. These hypothetical fascists of yours obviously hate living in a country that allows for free expression. As such, they are the ones who need to get out of the United States of America.
We don't worship the flag, and saying that patriots are fascists is ridiculous. We have respect and love for what it stands for all the our flag represents. It's called patriotism, obviously something you know nothing about.
while you have the right to "not salute" the American Flag mainly because these guys died protecting that right, pukes like you make me sick and ashamed at the same time.
Maybe had you put your pathetic life on the line you may have had a different view.
Thanks for your service. Nam was winding down when I was 15. My older sister had a boyfriend that I looked up to like a big brother was deployed to nam and his helicopter was shot down and he was KIA before he put a boot on the ground on the line. At 15 I probably had a better understanding of what was going on than most 15 year olds. I was captivated because my father who had retired from the Navy in 65 and had seen his share of action and I heard all his stories and did not miss the evening news. and I would be outside with friends and would come in to watch along with my dad.
I signed up for ROTC early on in school and at 17 I enlisted in the USMC. I was in for 17 years before I was grounded due to a bout with cancer and decided to take early retirement. I can honestly say I really miss it. Now I have the honor of watching my son who is about to graduate flight school serve his country as a US Marine.
No penalty for burning this flag!
Just when you think you've seen Ho, Bo and Co. couldn't get any lower, they do.
NOW, do I think the Obama flag is in extremely poor taste? Youbetcha!
No one, including Obama, expects anyone to salute it. It's ridiculous and inflammatory to suggest differently.
