These Zombie ACORN groups can do a lot of damage to the country before we see a Republican White House – and in fact could help prevent one through massive voter fraud.

That’s why citizen journalists across the nation need to be on the lookout for these reanimated ACORN groups.

In 1996, Obama was elected to the Illinois State Senate from the south side neighborhood of Hyde Park, in Chicago's 13th District. An element of controversy surrounded the election, due to Obama's legal challenges to the petition signatures of all 4 opponents in the race, resulting in their subsequent disqualification. Incumbent, Alice Palmer, following an unsuccessful bid at Congress, chose to defend her Illinois Senate seat despite having less than 2 days to gather the required petition signatures to run. Her campaign asked Obama, who she had previously supported, to step down. Not only did he not do so, he challenged the petition signatures of her and the other 3 candidates in the race, managing to disqualify enough to ensure he could run unopposed on the ballot. Grounds for dismissal of signatures included signatures printed but not signed, valid but collected by someone underage, and valid for the 1995 polling sheets but not the more recent 1996 ones.

Every time I vote (and I've been voting for forty years) they ask for identification. I made a habit of having my driver's license and voter's registration card in my shirt pocket for easy access when I enter the polls. Is that too much to ask? I certainly think it is NOT a big deal. I have been a poll worker in the past and it's never really been an issue. I don't understand why some people are dead set on allowing illegals (and the deceased) to vote. I'm not real happy with the way many absentee ballots are handled, but not my call. If you check, you will find the number of those voting absentee has grown dramatically over the past four or five years, at least here in Florida. In 2008 there were 1,850,502 absentee ballots cast. Over 2.6 million voted "early" and slightly more than 3.8 million voted on election day. More people voted absentee and early than did on election day. There is still some semblance of control on early votes but on absentees? You're guess is as good as any !
