Will the world end in December 21 2012?

Christian 2012/08/06 01:19:21

The 2012 phenomenon comprises a range of eschatological beliefs according to which cataclysmic or transformative events will occur on 21 December 2012.[1][2][3][4] This date is regarded as the end-date of a 5,125-year-long cycle in the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar.
Various astronomical alignments and numerological formulae have been
proposed as pertaining to this date, though none have been accepted by
mainstream scholarship.

A New Age
interpretation of this transition is that this date marks the start of
time in which Earth and its inhabitants may undergo a positive physical
or spiritual transformation, and that 2012 may mark the beginning of a new era.[5] Others suggest that the 2012 date marks the end of the world or a similar catastrophe.[6] Scenarios suggested for the end of the world include the arrival of the next solar maximum, or Earth's collision with an object such as a black hole, a passing asteroid, or a planet called "Nibiru".

The Mayans never predicted that the world would end on this date. That's just the date that their calendar happened to end. My calendar last year ended on December 31st 2011 but I never assumed that the world would end on that date.

Lies. Everyone knows the world ends sometime a trillion trillion years from now. Rose and the Doctor have seen it.

No. Assuming there is no extinction event, an asteroid or gamma ray burst for example, in our future mankind will most likely destroy itself. (Long after December 2012) Until that time the only sure reason for the destruction of humanity we know of is the expansion of the sun at the end of its life. I believe I read that will occur in about 5 billion years so I'm worried.

When we dream sometimes we dream of things we haven't seen.

Perhaps. Personally I do not believe in any type of supernatural foresight.

BTW you reply above is almost lyrical. Just put the "sometimes" at the beginning of the sentence. Pretty. :-)

We have used up 90% of earths time, some types of planets don't usually live as long as the stars they orbit especially when they have planets close by. We will collide with Venus or even Mars or get sucked into the sun before then. planets collide

How do you know we have used up 90% of out time?

As for colliding with Venus or Mars, I have never read anything about that before. Where did you read this?

Earth is not in a decaying orbit and therefore is in no danger of getting sucked into the sun. :-)

No, of course not. Marty McFly traveled all the way to 2015, therefore the world must last at least that long.

If Nibiru was going to hit us in december it would have to be so close that we would be able to see it with our naked eyes, but we can't; because it's not there!

The Mayan Calendar recycles, it doesn't end.
Nostradamus speaks of the 30th Century.
    The I-Ching also cycles regularly.
The Spider Program mirrors what people talk about. Self-fulfilling prophecy.

    Don't worry about it.

I'll just look at real estate prices. When they drop like a stone. then I'll worry. I'm still waiting for global warming to raise the ocean 28 ft. So far, not an inch. I'm a few blocks from the Atlantic, and so far no good.

No one knows the day or hour, but devils try their best to determine it. They call it the end of the world. They have no hope of eternal life being against all the characteristics of Jesus loving their intellect in the minds of people glorifying what they make chewing up what God made denying God like Peter.
