This country is in a mess and their is no one to blame other than the American voters. We vote "blindly". rather than making an educated vote. We should start voting for the "man". Anyone who votes in a way that is going to cause a bigger government, is slitting the wrist of this nation. Slowly, the red blooded American, is fading.

Obama took over from Bush and the point is they all create this mess. Obama took office without knowing what had been done, that is a tough job. I like him, I don't like political parties of any kind running government of the people. They are a special interest group.

Obama tried to help us out of the Bush mess---he did not do those things---Bush did!!!! However, as he tried the party of "NO"--Republicans---blocked him on everything. Hopefully, he will be able to do more when he is elected during the next term.

What short term memories so many have. While Obama hasn't done much to get us out of trouble, this started in the Bush administration. Stop, think, and google if you don't believe.

We just need a president that is a known job builder. One who knows how to make money in the private sector. A person who knows collectivism drags everyone down to the lowest common denominator. And someone who can preserve and uphold the constitution of the United States. If you don't like our constitution work to amend it. Or, move to a country of your choosing. No one is holding you here.

Most folks who've travelled to France said it was a good place, except for the people (in the genes?).
Not confined to Québec in Canada, seen some prize nut-bars in St. Boniface (NE Winnipeg). Also, whenever you call a Federal (some Provinces too) office, you're always greeted with 'bonjour'.

I was treated fine in France except in the cities. Just like New York. French civil servants are the worst in the world, or were 40 years ago.

But it's going to take a lot of hard cuts and hard work. The American people are going to have to assist in fixing this major screw up and it won't be easy. Those that want to be supported will be crying and protesting but we'll have to step over them to rebuild our country.

Keep in mind that this mess started with Wilson's Fed Reserve Act, Obama got left holding the bag (& fumbling, no business acumen).

Yeah, if we slide at this rate for a few centuries, we'll be close to Congo levels.

This isn't a pissing contest. We are not Congolese. If you don't see the US as sliding into the toilet, that's fine. And understandible as we can be completely objective. The problems became obvious when the first foreign car company built a factory in your country. Used to be that the Americans did that ijn other countries, but they were closer to the top then.

You don't have centuries. At your present pace you might not even have a decade.
