Definitely. As a commander in chief, the worst thing you can do is weaken an already exposed position. He's cut defense funding, he did nothing to strengthen security, he had knowledge that something was going to happen (any idiot could have seen it coming, terrorists love making attacks like anniversaries when you have a weak president) and did nothing about it. If he had ordered the embassies to strengthen their defenses, those good men would be alive today. Obama said we should be more tolerant of Muslims. Sorry, but it's hard to be tolerant of people who like to kill others for any reason they can think up of, even on their own people.
You have to hope that more and more people are waking up to just how big of a failure obama is by now. obama's weak and pathetic failure of a foreign policy is directly to blame for these attacks.
unknown at present, give it a couple of more weeks to see how things develop, and Obama's response. This has put him on a hot seat, and he knows it. He is also fully aware we do not change presidents during war often, and may use this as the opportunity to launch a war of some kind, most notably with Iran. The thing is, however, that since we would be at most only 6 weeks into a war, that may not hold true to form, and many may see him as the reason we are even in it.
He is especially vulnerable on the war issue with the way Iraq and Afghanistan have deteriorated, because everyone is aware that when W left, the surges had worked, and they were fairly stable, and now we have quagmires
The cost of our two wars is 6,500 dead, 40,000 wounded and $2 trillion piled onto a national debt that is $16 trillion, larger than the entire U.S. economy. And what in heaven’s name do we have to show for it?
