they can't legislate their way out of a wet paper bag.

the country will probably just have to wait another 2yrs before we can get some adults in there who can do their job.

Why wouldn't they, it does nothing about our deficit but to "kick the can", this do nothing congress will be back in 6 months to a year crying about the same problem. They will do nothing that may cut into their our pockets and what ever way you look at it is the problem!!!!!!!

They will pass a deal until the next circus... what will you ridiculous media outlets name the next circus? You have pretty much wore out all the catchy names like Debt ceiling crisis, housing crisis, recession blah blah... how about just call it what it is... BANKRUPTCY!

I think there will be a last minute deal like a mini compromise for three to nine months, and if that happens I think we will be ok, and will give us rich people more time to find out where we can put our money and get it to work. Like housing, or energy, libs. LOL.

Tax rises on the middle class have been avoided. I doubt that the House will dare to go against that.

Thanks for the link, but the Daily Mail is a right wing rag that isn't fit to be called a newspaper.
BTW, if you really think there is anything socialist about the UK nowadays then you need to get out more. And just to put you straight about the NHS: it is shown in poll after poll that the British public, of all political persuasions, are happy with the NHS.

It's not something I do often, but since you've done it already,
YOU'RE BLOCKED, YOU PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING. WANKER.

LOL, you know it's true, come on lady, you don't really live in the UK. I've been there, and I know how bad it is. You also have to beg your government for your needs, so please take it somewhere else, you phony.

GOP put them in and certainly do not want them to go away; House passed extending Bush tax cuts in August and Reid refused to bring to floor of Senate for a vote.

Can anyone tell me what cuts there were? These clowns didn't do anything. This was just a patch with a promise to come back in a few months to talk about $#!t that should have been handled YEARS ago. A bunch of con artists swindling the American people...and now, they will probably play the martyr card because they "worked tirelessly through the holidays".

For every one dollar in spending cuts taxes was raised forty one dollars.

Their is always hope but I doubt that anything can get the house to budge on taxes. The best plan we could have hoped for would have been to renew the status quo rather than having something the house is diametrically opposed to but their is always hope.

Happy New Year Comrade...I see you are ringing in the new year with more socialist crap. Let me ask you, have you seen the bills the house has passed in the last six months? There have been a few, and Comrade Reid won't bring them to the Senate Floor. Why is that, lib?

Let me show you what hurts the middleclass....The middle class will still see its taxes go up: The final deal on the fiscal cliff did not include an extension of the payroll tax holiday. $1 in Spending Cuts for Every $41 in Tax Increases. LOL, You going to sit there and tell me this is what you like? Come on, prove to me how dumb liberals are, say yes I dare ya. SAY IT, TELL US YOU LOVE IT. Greedy liberals like you who can't take care of themselves is whats killing America, now, prove me wrong on what goes into spending when it comes to caring for you low life 0bama parasites.
